Αν ï υπïλïγιστής σας δεν είναι σωστά εγκατεστηµένïς ώστε να øρησιµïπïιεί USB, øρησιµïπïιήστε ένα παράλληλï καλώδιï για να συνδέσετε τïν υπïλïγιστή σας µε τïν εκτυπωτή. Για να συνδέσετε τï παράλληλï καλώδιï µε τïν εκτυπωτή σας, εντïπίστε τï κάλυµµα στï πίσω µέρïς τïυ εκτυπωτή, µετακινήστε τï πρïς τα δεêιά, ïύτως ώστε να καλύψει τη θύρα USB και συνδέστε τï παράλληλï καλώδιï στην παράλληλη θύρα τïυ εκτυπωτή. Σηµείωση: Τï κάλυµµα στï πίσω µέρïς τïυ εκτυπωτή σάς επιτρέπει να επιλέêετε σύνδεση είτε µε παράλληλï καλώδιï είτε µε καλώδιï USB. Windows 98 1 Ανάψτε τïν εκτυπωτή και εισάγετε τï CD Εκκίνησης τïυ Εκτυπωτή HP στη µïνάδα CD-ROM. Μην κάνετε κλικ στï εικïνίδιï ÃδηγÞς Εκτυπωτή. Συνεøίστε µε τï âήµα 2. 2 α Στï πίσω µέρïς τïυ εκτυπωτή, εντïπίστε τï κάλυµµα καλύπτïντας τη θύρα USB. Kεæάλαιï 2 - USB A B â Μετακινήστε τï κάλυµµα πρïς τα αριστερά ïύτως ώστε να καλύψει την παράλληλη θύρα. Συνδέστε τï καλώδιï USB (αγïρασµένï êεøωριστά, αριθµÞς εêαρτήµατïς C6518A) απÞ τïν υπïλïγιστή σας στη θύρα USB, τïυ εκτυπωτή. Εάν ï υπïλïγιστής είναι σωστά ρυθµισµένïς για øρήση USB, τα Windows θα ανιøνεύσïυν τïν εκτυπωτή.. 3 Εµæανίúεται τï πλαίσιï διαλÞγïυ Add New Hardware Wizard (OδηγÞς Πρïσθήκης Νέïυ Υλικïύ). α Κάντε κλικ στï Next (ΕπÞµενï) έως Þτïυ σας úητηθεί να διευκρινίσετε την τïπïθεσία τïυ λïγισµικïύ. â Κάντε κλικ στï Browse (Αναúήτηση), και κάντε διπλÞ κλικ στï εικïνίδιï CD (συνήθως τï D: drive). γ Επιλέêτε τïν κατάλïγï \driver\win\<γλώσσα>\win98usb στï CD Εκκίνησης των Windows και κάντε κλικ στï OK.
