Today Commemoration A very warm welcome to Canon Doris who is 605 young men will march through Sligo next taking our services today. Sunday representing the 605 lives lost from the Sligo Area. Holy Trinity clothes collection As in previous years Holy Trinity church will be Children's Sunday Club collecting bags of clothes as a fundraiser. Please Can you help us to produce some little Biblical- start to think about clearing out your wardrobe. style robes for the children at Sunday club to wear for taking part in dramas and especially the St Paul’s Church History nativity, We will need about 20 small costumes The 300 th anniversary of the founding of St Paul’s made from old sheets and stripy tea towels. Church in Collooney is coming up in 2020. In Please let me know if you can offer some sheets or preparation for this we are asking if you have any tea towels of if you can sew some garments in a old photos, stories, artefacts etc. that may be simple T shape. World War One Stories and Memorabilia Mothers' Union Ethne in Ballymote Library is looking to access Kilmoremoy Branch has changed the date of their stories and memorabilia relating to local people Craft Night to which we are invited from Nov. who served in WWI from the local area. Dream Auction Please keep in mind the Prayer Vigil 10am-5pm St Paul’s Dream Auction took place at the Sligo and Service at 8pm in Holy Trinity Church, Park Hotel on Tuesday, November 30 th . Nearly Ballisodare on Thursday 29th November. See 190 lots were sold and more than €11,000 raised Tidings page 9 and posters. The speaker is Dan for St Paul’s Church. This was a massive Scannell, former prison governor and volunteer. undertaking and a great result. My thanks go out Everybody from all communities, churches and to those who organised the event, gave auction parishes are invited to attend during the day and in lots generously and also to everyone who came the evening. Please spread the word. and bought those lots. I hope you are happy with your purchases.
