National Aeronautics and Space Administration Companies Contributing to the X-59 QueSST This map shows the locations of companies that provide expertise, parts and manufacturing capabilities to build NASA’s X-59 Quiet SuperSonic Technology (QueSST) aircraft. The X-59 QueSST will be flown over U.S. communities to generate data on responses to the sounds the vehicle makes, hopefully leading to a change in the rules that prohibit commercial supersonic flight over land.
