Temporary Closure of C93 Between Chetnole & Melbury Bubb Temporary Closure of C93 Between Chetnole & Melbury Bubb DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffi c Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along C93 BETWEEN CHETNOLE & MELBURY BUBB between Hell Corner Melbury Bubb to its junction with Stockwood Road, a distance of approximately 1375 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 24 June 2019 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 9 August 2019. This Order will enable Wessex Water, safe access to replace 1210 metres of fragile water main. Temporary Closure of Goulds Hill Near Martinstown DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffi c Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Goulds Hill, near Martinstown from B3159 to Weymouth Road, a distance of approximately 1995 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 24 June 2019 between 0900 and 1700 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 5 July 2019. Outside of 0900 and 1700 there will be temporary traffi c signals in place. This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance works. A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffi c to travel around the closed sections. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along EAST STREET,CHICKERELL between its junction with North Square and its junction with Chickerell Road. However, these works will take place in 2 phases as indicated by signs on site; Phase 1 will be from the junction of North Square to the junction of West Street and Phase 2 will be from the junction of West Street to the junction of Chickerell Road, a distance of approximately 260 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 27 June 2019 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 12 July 2019. This Order will enable SGN, safe access to lay gas main and associated connections and services. An alternative route will be signed using: Phase 1 - East Street - Putton Lane - Glennie Way - Chickerell Road - East Street. Phase 2 - Garston Hill - Chickerell Hill - West Street.
