INS 2019 Vietri sul Mare () June 25th-29th 2019

The meeting will be held in Vietri sul Mare, just to the west of and about 40 km south-east from Napoli. The town (elevation: 80 m, 260 ft) is known for its polychrome ceramics, a local tradition since the 15th century, and is considered to be the gateway to the Coast. The quarter by the sea, named Marina di Vietri, is located to the south of the town.

Vietri can be reached from Salerno by public bus or taxi (about 5 km distance). Salerno is the terminal of frequent and rapid trains linking the main Italian cities, e.g. Naples (about 30 min from Salerno), Rome (1.30 h), Milan (5.30 h). Salerno has its own small airport, but it is advisable to fly via Naples or Rome and then reach Salerno by train: (Freccia Rossa or Italotreno).

The local organizers are Luigi Trojano and Dario Grossi, with the help of Dorothea Weniger

The meeting will be in Lloyd’s Baia Hotel, in walking distance of the town. The meeting will start on Tuesday June 25th 9:00 and close on Saturday June 29th 12:00.

We have obtained excellent rates at Lloyd’s. Please fill in the form on our website: http://ins-1951.org/INS_Italy_2019/ Scientific program
