"As much progress as we think we've made with legislation, litigation and education, anti-Semitism still continues to be the No. 2 hate crime in the . You can't eliminate it, but you can try to keep a lid on it." https://armenianweekly.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/Foxman.jpg

Why we’re proud of this individual:

 In the mid 1960s, Abraham Foxman joined the Anti- League. The ADL has a wide array of duties. They help fight Anti- Semitism, problems in the community, such as terrorism, cyber- hate and hate crimes. Additionally, they confront discrimination, stand up for and promote respectful schools! Mr. Foxman quickly became one of the directors of the ADL.

 He is in charge of protecting a public figure when they feel wrong- ly or incessantly criticized for something that they have done. He will respond to what the media is saying about said person. Since he is so well-known, the publicity is good for the person he is de- fending.

 He is a fierce defender of Israel and the Jewish community. He is not afraid to speak out about another celebrity or person of power that has spoken negatively about the Jewish Community. He says, “’I’m not predictable,’ Mr. Foxman said. ‘I’ve ticked off the right and the left. The media like that.’” He isn’t afraid to stand up for http://www.reaxxion.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Law- what is right. Enforcement-Logo-667x625.jpg
