I can locate the wonders of the world on a map. What is a 'Wonder' of the World? Throughout history, people have tried to categorised the most spectacular man-made structures and natural wonders. The first list was the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, which was compiled in (up to AD 600). This detailed the ancient wonders around the Mediterannean. In 2007, a new Seven Wonders of the Modern World was created and in 2011, a list of the Natural Wonders was created. These were voted by members of the public but are sll debated today.
