Scott Garceau 105.7 The Fan Earle Hellen Sports Media Award

Part of the sports landscape since he joined WMAR-TV in 1980, Scott has been honored seven times as State Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association. He was the voice of the NFL's Baltimore Ravens radio network for the teams first 10 years, and broadcast the team’s XXXV win over the . Scott was also part of broadcasts for 13 years as pre-game host and play-by-play announcer.

Scott co-hosts an afternoon drive-time Sports Talk Show on Baltimore's 105.7, The Fan that is also telecast nationally on MASN. A member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Board of Selectors, he is one of 44 members that meet each year at the Super Bowl to select the Hall of Fame inductees. He has done the play-by-play for the WMAR- TV/ESPN College Lacrosse Game of The Week since the popular series debuted in 1998.

Scott picked up the game of golf in his mid twenties when a friend took him to play in Albuquerque, New Mexico. As a 16 handicap, Scott hasn’t had that much success, but he loves the game and the competition. He also enjoys the people he has met and the interesting places he has visited as a result of playing golf.

Scott is a member of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula Sports Hall of Fame, and lives in Harford County with his wife, Georgeanna, who owns Garceau Realty. Their daughters Kelly and Danielle are an active part of the family's real estate business.
