Members Present: Tom O’Rourke, Chair; Gary Santos, Jake Rambo, Kathy Landing

Staff Present: Eric DeMoura, Marcy Cotov

1. Mr. O’Rourke called the meeting to order at 1:35 p.m. 2. Approval of Minutes from the June 1, 2021 meeting Mr. Santos moved to approve; seconded by Ms. Landing. All present voted in favor. 3. Public Comments. None. 4. Discussion and possible action regarding fees for towing service Town of Mount Pleasant Chief of Police, Mark Arnold, presented the following handout.

Mr. Santos moved to approve; seconded by Mr. Rambo. There was discussion between Committee and staff. All present voted in favor. 5. Discussion and possible action regarding a purchase of property for economic development Mr. O’Rourke stated that this Agenda Item was presented to the Economic Development Committee by Ms. Landing, who agreed during Executive Session to send this item to Council next week. Mr. Rambo moved to go into Executive Session; seconded by Mr. Santos. All present voted in favor. 6. Executive session regarding a purchase of property for economic development Committee went into Executive Session at 1:40 p.m. 7. Post Executive Session Committee may take action on any item, including any subsection of any section, listed on an executive session agenda or discussed in an executive session during a properly noticed meeting. Committee returned from Executive Session at 1:58 p.m. Finance Committee July 6, 2021 Page 4

Ms. Landing moved to proceed with a favorable recommendation to Council regarding a purchase of property for economic development; seconded by Mr. Santos. Motion passed 2-1-0 with Mr. Rambo opposed and Mr. O’Rourke abstaining. 8. Adjourn There being no further business, meeting adjourned at 1:59 p.m.
