Ongoing Out- break * A total of 44,617 confirmed & clinical malaria cases and 1 death reported during week. 5 * A total of 6,865 SAM cases and 7 death reported, showed 611(8%) cases decrement as compared to previous week. * A total of 19 Maternal deaths reported during this week, showed 1(5%) maternal death de- creament compared to previous week. * A total of 137 suspected rabies cases and 2 Rabies deaths were reported during the week. Dengue fever (DF): DF Outbreak is ongoing in Dire Dawa City, Atotal of 563 Cases without death were reported as of 07 November 2020. Response to the outbreak is ongoing by Dire Dawa city Health bureau and EPHI/PHEM. See figure below.

SARI cases: Cluster of respiratory virus-diseases associated with Severe Acute Respiratory Illness (SARI) were re- ported from Etang woreda of Gambella region. A total of 265 SARI cases, had Fever and admitted for their Shortness of breathing were reported from Epidemic week 32 -44 2020. Of 56 tested samples, 44(79%) were positive for RSV. Of total cases reported, 46/265(18%) of cases were reported during week 44, 2020. About 139(52%) were under 1 year age group.

Cholera: is ongoing in SNNPR, Oromia, Gambella and Sidama region, a total of 48 Cholera cases without death were reported during the week. The highest 26(54%) were reported from SNNP region followed by 16(33%) were from Oromia region. See detail below Figure. The highest 13(68%) suspected measles cases were from Oromia region fol- lowed by 3(16%) cases were reported from Benishangul Gumuz region. See detail figure below.

Neonatal tetanus (NNT): Three (3) suspected NNT cases and 4 death were reported during the week. All of the 3 suspected NNT cases were reported from Amhara region (2 cases were from Shebel and woreda of East Go- jam and 1 was from Bati Primary Hospital). Of total 4 deaths, 2 deaths were from Bule Hospital of Oromia region and 2 deaths were from Amhara region (1 death from shebel and 1 was from Dejen woreda).

Highest 2361(39%) cases were reported from Amhara region followed by 1877(31%) cases were reported from Oromia region and 630(10%) cases were from SNNPR.

Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM): During the week, a total of 6,865 SAM cases and 7 deaths were reported, Which showed 611(8%) decreament of cases as compared to last week. The highest 3,197(47%) SAM cases were reported from Oromia followed by 1268(19%) were from Somali region and 833(12%) were from Amhara region. Of total 7 deaths reported, 3 deaths were from SNNP region followed by 2 deaths were from Afar and Amhara region for each. See detail figure below.
