Adult Safeguarding

Examples of adult harm are: Do not:  Physical: e.g. hitting, slapping, pushing, kicking,  Make promises or agree to secrecy mishandling of medication, restraint, sanctions  Investigate yourself  Sexual: e.g. rape, sexual assault, forcing adults into sexual acts they don’t want/can’t consent to  Ask leading questions

 Psychological: e.g. threats, humiliation, blaming, controlling, intimidation, harassment, verbal abuse, cyber-bullying, isolation Your DSL/DSD should seek advice from:
