Take just one look at the “Bartlett Area Dining Guide” on page 14 of this newsletter, and you’ll see the wide variety of options you have for any meal of the day in the Village. Whether you are looking for pancakes or omelettes, pizza, ribs and burgers, fast food or sit-down ethnic fare, you can find them here. Ambrosia Greek Eatery and Wee-Dee’s recently opened in Bartlett and are the two newest additions to the Bartletter’s annual directory/dining guide. Ambrosia Greek Eatery is owned and operated by husband and wife team Joanna and Michael Lambrou. Located at 890 S. Route 59 in the Bartlett Commons shopping center, Ambrosia offers freshly made dishes based on recipes from the owners’ hometown in Greece. Pastichio, dolmades, Greek chicken, gyros, souvlaki and spanakopita are some of the traditional favorites prepared by Joanna. Finish off your meal with homemade Greek yogurt, baklava or loukoumades. Ambrosia is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days per week and offers takeout and catering in addition to an attractive dining area. Call 847-893-6314 or visit Ambrosia’s Facebook page for more details. Another husband and wife team Jimmy and Rebecca Kapasouris have opened Wee-Dee’s at 778 West Bartlett Road in the Westgate Commons shopping plaza. Wee-Dee’s dining area features a huge collection of sports memorabilia, and the equally large menu includes gyros, salads, hot dogs, burgers, Italian beef, sixteen sandwiches, pitas, wraps, subs, chicken wings and much more.
