A NIGHT IN THE FINK….. urlington Danes Academy saw its first ever sleepover at the end of May with B over 40 Y9 students camping out in classrooms. () The Friday evening was spent playing table tennis, basketball and football whilst music was playing in the glorious sunshine and the students hardly got a wink of sleep, watching movies, partying and playing computer games until the early hours. The sleepover finished off perfectly with a 8 DAYS….. lovely BBQ on Saturday in the early Ithin the space of 8 days, St afternoon. HOMELESSNESS….. n June, Y5 children from St Cuthbert with St Matthias, Earls Court accepted I a challenge from Go-Givers (Citizenship Foundation) which promotes ideas of charity and empathy amongst children through active participation. An important issue with the children was poverty which they see every day and one aspect they focused on was homelessness.
