GAZETTE NOTICE No. 1556 THE TRANSPORT LICENSING ACT (Cap. 404) APPLICATIONS THE undermentioned applications will be considered by the Transport Licensing Board at Town Hall on the following days: Monday, 18th March, 2003—ML/R/03/1/01 to ML/R/03/1/50. Tuesday, 19th March, 2003—ML/R/03/51 to ML/R/03/100.

Wednesday, 20th March, 2003 } to consider deferred cases and renewals for the year 2003.

Every objection in respect ofan application shall be lodged with thelicensing authority and the District Commissioner ofthe district in which such an application is to be heard and a copytherefore shali be sent tothe applicant not less than seven (7) days before the date of the meeting at which such an application is to be heard. Objections received later will not be considered except where otherwise stated that the applications arefor one vehicle.

Every objectorshall include the registration numberofhis/her vehicle (together with the timetables where applicable), operating on the applicant’s proposed route. Those who submit applications in the names of partnership and companies mustbring certificates of business registration to the Transport Licensing Board meeting.

Applicants who are Kenya, Tanzania or Ugandacitizens of non-African origin must producetheir certificates or any other documentary proofof their citizenship.

Applicants whofail to attend the above meeting as per requirementofthis notice, without a reasonable cause, will have their applications refused and should therefore, not expect further comrnunications from the Board.
