Also had one punt return for 17 yards. DEFENSE - DARIUS LEONARD, LB, Indianapolis (1st season, SOUTH CARO- LINA STATE) - Led Colts with 17 total tackles, 12 solos, and a fum- ble recovery in win over Buffalo. SPECIAL TEAMS – TRENTON CANNON, RB, New York Jets (1st season, VIRGINIA STATE) - Led the Jets with four receptions for 69 yards with a long catch and run of 35 yards, two carries for four yards includ- ing a 6-yard run, the first carries of his NFL career, and two special teams solo tackles in loss to Minnesota OTHER TOP PERFORMANCES SPECIAL TEAMS NA OFFENSE. – TERRON ARMSTEAD, OT, New Orleans (6th season, ARKANSAS-PINE BLUFF) - Anchored the left side of the offensive line in win over Baltimore. Saints passed for 205 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 134 yards and one TD in the win.. – CHESTER ROGERS, WR/KR, Indianapolis (3rd season, GRAMBLING STATE) – Led Colts with four receptions for 40 yards with a long catch of 29 yards in win over Buffalo. – CHAD WILLIAMS, WR, Arizona (2nd season, GRAMBLING STATE) - Had four receptions on eight targets for 34 yards in loss to Denver. - ISAIAH CROWELL, RB, New York Jets - (5th season, ALABAMA STATE) - Led Jets with 11 carries for 29 yards and had one 21-yard reception in loss to Minnesota. DEFENSE – ANTHONY LEVINE SR., CB, Baltimore (7th season, TENNESSEE STATE) - One solo tackle in loss to New Orleans. - ANTOINE BETHEA, S, Arizona (13th season, HOWARD) - Led Cardinals with ten total tack- les, six solos, in loss to Denver. – RODNEY GUNTER, DT, Arizona (4th season, DELAWARE STATE) - Three total tackles, two solos, in loss to Denver. – RAFAEL BUSH, S, Buffalo (8th season, SOUTH CAROLINA STATE) - Three total tackles, two solos, in loss to Indianapolis. – RYAN SMITH, CB, Tampa Bay (3rd season, NORTH CAROLINA CENTRAL - One solo tackle in OT win vs. Cleveland. – TONY McRAE, DB, Cincinnati (2nd season, NORTH CAROLINA A&T) - One solo tackle in loss to Kansas City. – ANTONIO HAMILTON, DB, New York Giants (?th season, SOUTH CAROLINA STATE) - One assisted tackle in loss to Atlanta. GOTCHA!: Indianapolis rookie linebacker Darius Leonard (#53, SOUTH CAROLINA STATE) closes in on the Buffalo Bills running back for a solo tackle in Sunday’s game. Leonard led the Colts with 17 tackles, 12 solos, and had a fumble recovery in the 37-5 win. TARIK GETS IN!: Chicago running back Tarik Cohen (#29, NORTH CAROLINA A&T) gets to the pylon to finish off a 6-yard TD reception in Sunday’s game vs. New England. It was Cohen’s first TD reception of the year. CANNON UNLEASHED!: In his first extended action as a pro, New York Jets rookie running back Trenton Can- non (#40, VIRGINIA STATE) hauls in a 35- yard pass (top), runs away from a Minnesota defender (center) and gives the first down signal (right) in Sunday’s game vs. Minnesota. Cannon led the Jets with four catches for 69 yards and carried twice four 4 yards. He had one recepton this season before Sunday’s performance. He also had two special teams’ tackles to win this week’s player of the week award GO CHESTER!: Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Chester Rogers (#80, GRAMBLING STATE) makes one of his four receptions for 40 yards that led the Colts in their victory over Buffalo. .
