FOUR PLAYERS FROM CHICAGO AND EIGHT REPEAT SELECTIONS LEAD 2018 PRO FOOTBALL WRITERS OF AMERICA ALL-NFL TEAM; ALL-AFC AND ALL-NFC TEAMS ALSO ANNOUNCED

The placed a league-high four players on the 2018 All-NFL team, chosen in voting conducted by the Professional Football Writers of America (PFWA).

The Bears placed , outside and safety on the defense and punt returner on special teams.

The had three All-NFL selections as they placed , and tackle Mitchell Schwartz on the offense.

The , , Chargers, , and each had two players on the All-NFL team. In all, 17 clubs are represented among the 28 players honored by the PFWA.

A total of eight players were repeat selections from the PFWA’s 2017 All-NFL team. Philadelphia , Rams defensive tackle , Rams , Houston DeAndre Hopkins, Philadelphia center , Dallas guard , outside linebacker and Seattle middle linebacker also received 2017 honors. Miller was named All-NFL for the fifth-consecutive season, the longest current streak among active players, while Donald and Martin were selected for the fourth-consecutive season. Wagner was named All-NFL for the third-straight season.

Miller (2012, 2014-18) was selected All-NFL for the sixth time, while the Texans’ J.J. Watt (2012-15, 2018) was tabbed All-NFL for the fifth time. Donald (2015-18) and Martin (2015-18) were both selected for the fourth time. wide receiver (2015-16, 2018), Mack (2015-16, 2018) and placekicker (2013, 2016, 2018) became three-time All-NFL selections.

A total of 13 players were first time All-NFL selections, including three rookies: Seattle Michael Dickson, Chargers safety and guard Quenton Nelson.

The All-NFL offense includes Mahomes at quarterback, the Cowboys’ and Gurley at running back, Hopkins, Jones and the ’ Michael Thomas at wide receiver, Travis Kelce at tight end, Jason Kelce at center, Martin and Nelson at guard with the ’ David Bakhtiari and Schwartz at tackle. The All-NFL defense includes the Minnesota Vikings’ Danielle Hunter and Watt at , Cox and Donald at defensive tackle, Mack and Miller at outside linebacker, Wagner at middle linebacker, Fuller and the at cornerback with Jackson and James at safety.

The All-NFL special teams include Tucker at placekicker, Dickson at punter, the ’ Andre Roberts at kickoff returner, Cohen at punt returner and James as the special teamer.

The PFWA also announced the All-AFC and All-NFC teams. The Chiefs led all AFC teams with five conference selections, while the Jets, Ravens and the each had three honorees. The Bears, Cowboys and the Saints led all NFC clubs with four conference selections each, while the Eagles and Rams each had three NFC honorees.
