(2) Calls for the creation of the Walama Court to divert First Nations peoples away from the criminal justice system and ensure a culturally appropriate legal system. (3) Calls for the increased involvement of Aboriginal elders in the District Court of NSW to reduce police contact. (4) Calls for additional resources to be directed towards Aboriginal communities to fund rehabilitation programs. (2) Notes Indigenous Australians are hugely overrepresented in custody and face ongoing discrimination and violence. (3) Condemns the Minister for Police's comments in defence of a police officer who threw a 16-year- old Indigenous boy to the ground. (4) Stands in solidarity with those fighting against injustice in law enforcement and black deaths in custody. (2) Notes that 11 councils, including AlburyCity Council, have already agreed to develop a Council Accelerated Assessment Program with the Government to help their communities rebound from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. (3) Commends the Government for its provision and development of tools, guidance and support, and its successful Planning System Acceleration Program to fast-track council-led planning projects to help boost jobs and investment in communities. (2) Notes the cost of shore power will be reduced by up to 20 percent if the cable connection for Sydney Metro West is installed with a conduit to permit power access to the White Bay Cruise Terminal. (3) Notes the health and environmental impacts of pollution generated by cruise ships are significant. (4) Calls on the Government to commit to installing shore power at White Bay Cruise Terminal. (4) Requests the Government change its decision and commit to the $960,000 annual funding for this crucial and life changing program. (2) Notes Hamish Doak was provided with a hypothetical $50,000 to invest and he turned a profit of over $37,000. (3) Recoginses Hamish Doak competed against over 17,000 students from a cross Australia, ranking 53rd nationally, 17th in New South Wales, and first place at Armidale Secondary College. (5) Acknowledges the incidence of stroke is 100 percent higher for males than females aged 55 years and over.
