MEN’S GYMNASTICS ABOUT THE MEET After securing its 28th B1G title in school history a couple weeks ago, the Orange and Blue will look for a National title this weekend in Chicago. The second-ranked Illini compete in the second session of the preliminary round against No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 6 Ohio State, No. 7 Penn State, No. 9 Iowa and No. 12 California. Meet action is set to begin at 7 p.m. CT. The finals will be held on Saturday, beginning at 6 p.m. CT.

NOTEWORTHY #2 ILLINOIS - Illinois has won 10 national championships in program history (‘39, ‘40, ‘41, ‘42, ‘50, ‘55, ‘56, ‘58, at ‘89, ‘12).
