With the Shuckers trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the ninth, Biloxi centerfielder Corey Ray ended the game with a two-run walk-off home run to right field to give the Shuckers their second straight one-run win in the series. Jacksonville right-handed relief pitcher Marcus Crescentini (1-3) allowed the walk-off homer in the ninth to take the loss, while Biloxi right-handed relief pitcher Brad Kuntz (1-2) earned the win. With runners on the corners in the top of the first, an errant pickoff attempt by Ventura at first base scored Isan Diaz from third to give Jacksonville a 1-0 lead. Jacksonville maintained the lead thanks to a strong start by right-handed starter Pablo Lopez. He turned in five scoreless innings allowing three hits with two walks and four strikeouts, and his first 14 innings pitched at the Double-A level have been scoreless. The Shuckers tied the game at 1-1 in the bottom of the seventh with a solo homer by Clint Coulter off Jacksonville reliever Zech Lemond.
