Inquiry Into the Government's Response to the Covid-19 Pandemic Inquiry into the Victorian Government's Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic Submission no. 202 Inquiry into the Government’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic Mr Harold Jacotine YOUR SUBMISSION Submission: Since the state of emergency was declared by the Governor General, in March 2020, I am not sure of the actual date, in relation to corona virus pandemic, as a resident of Victoria, myself, my family and all residents of Victoria, have been subjected to brutal lockdowns, imposed by Daniel Andrews and his most incompetent government. He has taken away my God given rights of freedom by these most unjust restrictions. I understand that there is some sort of virus, but the way Daniel Andrews has gone about with the brutal lockdowns is appalling to say the least, He in my view is a control freak, do as I say or face the consequences.. This in my view is an act of communism, given the very fact that he has signed the road and belt deal with communist China and has visited that country on or about 30 visits, the last visit being in October 2019, when the virus is believed to have started in Vuhan Let me now bring to your notice, of what he has done, He unlawfully imprisoned the vulnerable people, in the public housing towers, in North Melbourne and Flemington, locking them up for a number of days in their very small units, denying them of any freedom, whatsoever, they could not even go out the front door to get fresh air, and if they did, they were confronted by the police and ordered back inside, otherwise they would have been arrested. There were 500 police allocated to control these innocent residents, who had done nothing wrong, they were treated as criminals, yet the criminals are treated better, fresh air, exercise and so on, what a tragic situation by Daniel Andrews. What did he gain by doing this dreadful act, nothing, this speaks volumes to me, a total control freak. Then we come to the hotel quarantine fiasco ,What an absolute disgrace, because of Daniel Andrews and his most incompetent governments, botched plan, over 817 deaths have occurred in Vjctoria, this is unbelievable to say the least, given the very fact that the rest of Australia, has only recorded some 80 deaths. What an utter stuff up by Andrews, he should resign, he is not fit to be the Premier. He then set up a board of inquiry into the hotel quarantine fiasco, in my view, to stop a Royal Commision, so as to cover up what happened at the botched up program. I cannot believe of what is happening at the inquiry, where the Premier, other ministers and staff, have all told the board, that they do not know who was responsible for the use of private security at the nominated hotels, what pathetic lies. A big cover up, they are all ducking for cover, it appears thry have closed ranks. Thirty million dollars has been spent in contracting private security, and nobody knows. This reminds me of the series, Hogans heroes, where Sgt Schultz says I see Inquiry into the Victorian Government's Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic Submission no. 202 nothing and I know nothing. What an absolute debacle, on the part of Andrews and his pathetic government. No one is taking responsibility. However, it now seems that after pressure from the opposition, the media, mainly Sky Newd, and legal experts, the board have uncovered other evidence to rebut the evidence that was given, previously. Let's hope and pray that the Truth will be revealed. 817 lives lost, and no one seems to care. Thry seem to be going along on their merry way. A bunch of scoundrels, surpressing the TRUTH. Then we have the brutal lockdowns, the curfew, unlawful to say the least , person/s being imprisoned in their own homes, only allowed to go out shopping once s day, no family allowed to visit, hospitals no visitors to see their loved ones, no visitors at at the age care residencies, funerals only 5 allowed, travel only 5 km, exercise for - one hour per day, wearing of masks, mandatory, Police brutality, for person/s breaching Andrews restrictions, treated like criminals. What a dreadful state of affairs, all because Andrews, wants total control of our lives, Businesses closed, unemployment has hit the roof, very high sucide rate, this is not even mentioned, mental health has sky rocketed, Andrews had caused unprecedented harm to all residents in this once, liveable state, not any more, under Andrews. He and his government needs to be booted out. He has now got more power, by the passing of the Omnibus Bill. Enough is enough, both myself and my family have suffered a great deal over these brutal lockdowns, our human rights have been taken away, this is a most dreadful situation. He should not be allowed to get away for his brutal actions. freak Do you have any additional comments or suggestions?: I pray that the truth will be revealed at the board of inquiry as to the most dreadful mishandling of the quarantine program by Daniel Andrews and his government, Further that the Premier and his government be removed from office. Melburnians are far more likely than Country Victorians to want to be able to travel more than 5km from their home, visit their families and for the night-time curfew in Melbourne to end. Importantly, a slim majority of 51% of Melburnians now say they should be free to travel more than 5km from their home – up from 45% a week ago.

    Inquiry into the Victorian Government's Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic Submission no. 20 OVER POLICING; THE NEED FOR EXECUITIVE ACCOUNTABILITY DURING THE COVID-19 CRISIS JACQUELINE WRIGHT I INTRODUCTION Following the Victorian Government’s health response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Public Accounts and Estimates Committee have commenced a public inquiry to consider the effectiveness of the Victorian Government approach.1 This submission addresses the terms of reference of the inquiry by considering the lack of transparency surrounding Victoria’s over policing of vulnerable communities in response to the COVID-19 crisis. This submission considers this lack of transparency around the policing of assembly and movement, in light of executive responsibility as a principle of public law.     Victorian Election 2018: Exit Poll Victorian State Election 2018: Exit Poll November 28, 2018 Methodology The following graphs are based on two virtual focus groups. The first of 90 voters in this year’s Victorian election which was selected from a larger group of 186 respondents to reflect voting intentions based on the results of the election as displayed on the Victorian Electoral Commission’s website on Monday November 26, 2018. The second from responses to a previous survey undertaken between November 10 and November 16, 2018 resulting in a virtual focus group of 100. Details of that report can be downloaded from here1. Results should be taken as indicative in that the sample is not properly randomised, but it is unlikely that groups are completely unrepresentative. The second poll was conducted from Saturday November 24 through to Sunday November 25, 2018 using our online panel of over 13,000 Australian voters. Quantitative analysis was undertaken using Microsoft Excel. Qualitative analysis was undertaken using Leximancer.
