Thomas was predeceased by: his father Thomas Sr. in 1969 and his mother Katie in 1961. He was also predeceased by his wife Dora in 2003; son Gerald Yarmichuk in infancy and grandson Sheldon Stratichuk in 1986; brothers John and George; sisters: Mary and Katie in infancy. Thomas was also predeceased by his brothers- in-law Matt Surkan, Nick Medelko, Nick Magas, Matt Derow and Alfred Onslow. Thomas leaves to celebrate and rejoice in his memory his daughter Viola and her husband Ron Rieger of Regina, Sk.; sisters: Elsie Surkan of , Sk. Doris Magas of Kelowna, B.C., Mary (Magner) Nelson of Weyburn, Sk, Vicky (Bill) Snatinsky of Watson, Sk; and Kay Onslow of Theodore. He also leaves a close friend Phyliss Langley; grandchildren, Clayton (Jackie Stratichuk) of Yorkton, Sk and Cheryl (Ken) Kaban of Parkerview, Sk; great-grandchildren Melissa Kaban (Kelly Grona) of Fox Valley, Sk, Kyle Kaban, Haley Stratichuk of Yorkton,Sk. and numerous nieces and nephews and the many friends that knew him. Thomas was born on April 4, 1921 to Thomas Sr. and Katie Yarmichuk in the Insinger District 1921- 2005 and settled with his parents on the family farm. Thomas attended the Chernovitz School. Thomas married Dora Prayer Service Gawrelitza on October 5, 1941 and continued to farm in Tuesday, November 1, 2005 the Insinger district for over 30 years.
