MUSIC On Working Together I think Demi and I both sort of looked up about nine to ten months ago and said how amazing both of our individual careers have kind of taken shape in a whole new way … and feeling like we’re both at a place where, if we were ever going to do this again, it was right now ... knowing that we could put a really great show together …

On Taking A Stand My connection with the LGBT[Q] community—I’ve always kind of been an outsider when I lived in . I never fit in and I didn’t agree with a lot of the opinions down in the South and when I got out to California, I just saw a whole new world and I thought, I have no idea why this isn’t like the the rest of the United States and the rest of the world, to be honest. So, I’m just standing up for what’s right …

On Staying On Making New Music Healthy I wanted to prove to people that I My days now consist wasn’t just a stereotypical Hollywood of doing things that starlet [who] goes to rehab and falls are going to better back into the trap of the things that myself ... So my life got her there. I wanted to make right now consists sure that the music that I made was of gym, AA meetings great … and I sang my heart out. and the studio, so ... I wanted to continue … using my that’s pretty much platform for more things than just my life. And I love it. singing ...
