Student Bruno De Vita Consultants Ltd. enrolment was close to full capacity in all grades, except grade 12. Heroic Deed by VC’s Mr. Michel DesLauriers Vancouver College is proud of Mr. Michel DesLauriers for his heroic lifesaving act last November 17, 2005. Mr. DesLauriers performed CPR on long-time coaching legend, Mr. Barry Stewart, who suffered a heart attack and dropped to the turf during a Grade 8 football match. The two coaches were brought together by fate, faith, and football. Gift of Life My name is Rick Pearson (Richard) and I graduated from College in ‘61. I still have a strong faith in Jesus Christ (Bro Rice would be proud of me). I am a District Sales Mgr with Honda Canada Inc here at the Western Zone office in Richmond. I’ve been married to the same won- derful gal for over 39 years, having 2 children (both happily married) and 5 grandchildren. My wife recently had a liver transplant and our son in law volunteered a portion of his liver to save her life. Praise Our Lord for she is recovering nicely. What a gift for Christmas...... what a son in law!!! Prayer works and I can attest that through my life growing up and attending College the spiritual dimension was set, and I praise the Lord for the journey HE has allowed me to be on. I give HIM all the credit for my life.
