Or at least he will be soon! Join us Saturday, July 27, as at 6pm and the menu includes Kahlua pork; island style West Seattleite Bret Wiggins brings his Beach rice avored with sausage, egg, and green onion; Party themed Elvis tribute to the Senior Center of West coleslaw with pineapple; and watermelon. e show Seattle. Bret will be performing songs from movies such will begin at 6:30pm. No-host bar will last throughout as Blue Hawaii, Fun in Acapulco, Clambake, and Girls, the evening. Girls, Girls. His second set will include songs from Elvis’s Aloha from Hawaii album. Admission is $20 for members and $25 nonmembers. Bookkeeper Nicole Knowles West Seattle Street Festival - SUMMER FEST is July 12th to 14th Chef/Site Coordinator Francisco Briseño Join us for our annual Stop ‘N Shop sidewalk sale, our annual quilt rae ticket sales, and meeting up with friends in the neighborhood for the 37th annual West Outreach Coordinator Seattle Summer Fest. Our Stop ‘N Shop will be expanding out into the street Bettie Williams-Watson for these three days and we are looking for donations of useable, gently worn Café Server household items in good condition for the sidewalk sale. ese can include small Gayle Holmes furniture items, collectibles, antiques, jewelry, kitchen items, etc. If you have such Social Workers items that you’d like to donate, just bring them in when either the Senior Center Holly McNeill, MSW or the Stop ‘N Shop are open. Nicole was previously employed by Stop-n-Shop Assistant Recreational Equipment, Inc. (REI AHQ), where she Joni James worked in various nance and administrative positions Typesetting/Design for een years. Nicole comes to us with a wealth of Lindsay Fournier knowledge and a genuine desire to help the Center Stop n’ Shop Hours: operate as smoothly as possible. 10:00 a.m.—4:00 p.m. 7 days a week Nicole moved to Seattle 21 years ago from Wyoming, where her favorite aunt 4504 California Ave. SW still resides. Her passion and commitment to seniors was inspired by this aunt, Seattle, WA 98116 aectionately known as Auntie Fancy, who Nicole talks to on the phone every day. Nicole is frequently inspired by Auntie Fancy’s wisdom and kindness. Volunteerism improves health by strengthening the body, improving mood, and lessening stress in participants. Come volunteer with us! We have positions that are once a week as well as opportunities that are just once in a while! You can pick up a volunteer application at the front desk or email our Volunteer Coordinator at [email protected] and she can send you our online application. You can also call Sara at 206-932-4044 x8. Our Current Volunteer Openings: COMMUNITY DINING KITCHEN VOLUNTEER Come and volunteer at the Senior Center and work with our wonderful chef! We have volunteer jobs for prepping, serving, and cleaning up. We need your skills to help prepare and serve nutritious meals in our Junction Diner for seniors and guests of the Center. We have a lot of fun, you will be well appreciated by all of our seniors and sta, and you can enjoy a free lunch! Flexible ongoing daytime
