Press Release Keeping on Top of Fluke in your Flock Clynderwen and Cardiganshire Farmers along with Farming Connect have put together a series of five meetings throughout Wales in September focussing on Liver Fluke Options in Sheep. Because of the wet weather of the last few years leading to increased levels of liver fluke issues it is important that farmers think about changing their dosing practices now in order to keep on top of the problem. This can mean treating at a different time of year as well as changing the products used. Farming Connect have been lucky to secure the services of two of the UK‘s leading independent sheep specialists in Kate Phillips and Lesley Stubbings to speak at these meetings about the various fluke management options available to farmers this Autumn and Winter. 16 Sept - Lower Hall, Heyope, Knighton Powys LD7 1PY (Kate Phillips) 2pm 17 Sept - Trewyn, Llanerchymedd, Ynys Mon, LL71 8AE (Kate Phillips) 4pm 18 Sept - Rhyndaston, Hayscastle, Haverfordwest SA62 5PT (Kate Phillips) 2.30pm 18 Sept - Cae Iago, Llanwrin, Machynlleth, SY20 8QJ (Lesley Stubbings) 4pm 19 Sept - Henbant Farm, Lledrod, Aberystwyth (Lesley Stubbings) 5pm About Clynderwen and Cardiganshire Farmers Ltd With a turnover in excess of £45 million (and still growing) CCF is a farmer owned co operative based in Pembrokeshire and a leading supplier of a substantial range of farming products in Wales.
