His choice in location (WalMart) adds to the irony. With the buzz around his appearances and YouTube shorts, many of us are asking; what’s next for the actor?

Naturally — his sense of pride as a Chi- cagoan is interwoven into his style, as well as the work he does to support the community. Korporate televises the funny and also the serious side of his mission. Last year, he took to The Cook County Juvenile Center for a #KorporateChristmas where he catered food from a local restaurant to support the youths who were detained during the holidays. levelupmagazine Issue 14 - 14 levelupmagazine Issue 14 - 15 YOUNG PHARAOH Young Pharaoh’s style of teaching can’t be summed up in words. You have to experience his no holds barred personality to truly understand his teachings. When he took to YouTube a few years ago as one of the youngest people to challenge several teachers and schools of thought in the Conscious Communi- ty, viewers were refreshed by his honesty and willingness to share his learned knowledge.

hree years ago, (YP) Young Pharaoh launched what would become a viral brand aligned with conscious- ness and high vibrational thought. The first video to be published to his channel generated 130,000 views and T will always be a classic; pushing the envelope of reli- gion and independent thought. Young Pharaoh’s approach to the knowledge he wanted to share was original and he came in with no apologies. Participating in high energy debates and lectures across America, his no-nonsense and truthful approach has gained him thousands of loyal supporters. Since 2015, he has taken his learned knowledge to share it through his online school — Pharaoh Allah University and his YouTube channel, Pharaoh Allah. To showcase a variety of content to his young audience, he’s also expanded to another YouTube page — YP Instagram Live. What he does is far from political and breaks through the propaganda that we’ve all been conditioned to see as normal. What increased his popularity in the earlier days was his desire to share knowledge with no strings attached and in the most real way possible. His teachings are raw — no cut. From the beginning, his purpose has been to connect his people with information that can catapult them into a more up- lifting energy. Along with sharing knowledge via his social media outlets, Young Pharaoh uses music as a means of self-expression. He reaches another audience who would benefit from conscious- ness in a musical way. It’s Levels to this Shift 2 is his most recent EP highlighting his most notable track “Ritual” that is complement- ed by creative visuals and speaker banging drums. 2019 is looking prosperous for the Pharaoh.

levelupmagazine Issue 14 - 22 levelupmagazine Issue 14 - 23 Heartstrings is a collection of seven songs, including those she pre- viously released. Heavily encouraged by her guitar, this album talks mainly about all the stages of Victoria’s life− her relationships, friend- ships, memories. Her music makes her remember those moments in her life.

Her first track Falling in Lalala tackles the beauty of falling in love, building its sound with gradual intensity and a simple yet catchy gui- tar rhythm. The next song Heartstrings, talks about love in play, and someone pulling on her heartstrings, possibly hinting about heart- break or confusion. Much to that story comes her song Mr. Right

Now, which is my personal favorite as it has good playful vocals and your typical strong independent woman realizing her worth anthem. And lastly, she serves some “Colbie Caillat Bubbly” vibes with her last ditty, All with You, summing up the beautiful adventure of love.

Heartstrings is the perfect album to listen to when you want to go on a roadtrip and blast the car with your singing voice. With its chill mel- odies and lively acoustics, I’m betting it will be your summer bops of the season. But let’s not get lost in its catchy tunes, for the message it relays is far more beautiful than any other song in it.
