• Schools are moving rapidly to official 1:1 • Students are moving unofficially to 24/7 connec vity • Opportunity to use interest & access to teach! • Teachers are eagerly seeking tools to help Research and Surveys
Project RED Report 2012 • 63% of students are using digital resources for learning daily or weekly. Speak Up Survey 2012 • 20% of district administrators regularly use Twi er to communicate. • 40% of teachers and 50% of principals use online professional learning communi es. • 74% of educators say digital content increases student engagement • 50% of educators say it helps to personalize instruc on Pew Internet Project’s 2011 teen survey • 77% of teens have a cell phone
