*ENTRY TAGS WILL BE PRINTED AND WILL BE AVAILABLE ON ENTRY DATE OR FOR EARLY ENTRY TAGS, ENTRY FORMS MUST BE RECEIVED BY MONDAY, AUGUST 16 AND THEN TAGS CAN BE PICKED UP ON THURSDAY, AUGUST 19.

*All Exhibitors are limited to entering a maximum of 6 entry pages (72 items) if Entry Form is received by Tuesday, August 24, 2021 by 5:00 p.m. to EISF Office.

*Oriental Division: will no longer be a division. Items can be entered in other division appropriate categories.

ENTRY FEE: $1.00 each for the first 4 items or $5.00 per page (see below for restrictions). • Entry Forms received by August 24, 2021, maximum of 6 pages or up to 72 items per exhibitor, exhibitor must be present during entering. • Entry Forms received August 25, 2021 or after, maximum of 3 pages or up to 36 items per exhibitor, exhibitor, exhibitor must be present during entering.

ENTRY FORMS and TAGS: NEW!!! Entry Form(s) submitted to [email protected] or sent/delivered to the Eastern Idaho State Fair - Main Office, PO Box 250, Blackfoot, ID 83221 and RECEIVED by EISF Office by Tuesday, August 24, 2021 may enter up to 72 items. The tags will be laser printed and be available on date of entering for attachment to all Antique Department entries. All Late Entries received on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 or later will be accepted until Saturday, August 28, 2021 but limited to 3 pages only or up to 36 items per exhibitor. All exhibitors must be present during entering. PLEASE NOTE: If Antique Entry Forms are received by Monday, August 16, 2021, to the Eastern Idaho State Fair Main Office, we will print the Entry Tags and have them ready for pick up by Thursday, August 19, 2021, at the Eastern Idaho State Fair Main Office.

CASH PREMIUMS: will be available on Park Street-Payout Window, west of Main Gate No. 1. Monday, September 6 -- Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. • Monday, September 13, 2021 from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Photography Dept. Bldg. • After September 14, 2021 awards will be given out only during regular office hours and • may be picked up at the E.I.S.F. Main Office, hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with lunch • from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. E.I.S.F. Main Office will also be closed on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. and will be closed on September 20, 2021 all day to observe Labor Day Holiday for employees. Premiums not claimed by September 30, 2021 will be considered a donation and will revert to the EISF General Fund.

RELEASE DATE: Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (NO EXCEPTIONS) The fair will not be responsible for articles left after 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 12, • 2021. There will be a Storage Fee on ALL entries left after the 3rd week of September. • The charge will be $20 per week. All entries not picked up will be disposed of 60 days after completion of Fair.

SPECIAL DEPARTMENT RULES: A. Antiques must be 70 years old or older, unless specified in division headings. B. Exhibits will be entered in the appropriate division and class ONLY. C. A MAXIMUM OF 6 PAGES OR UP TO 72 ITEMS PER EXHIBITOR WILL BE ACCEPTED. D. Each individual exhibitor must be present during entering unless written approval from Superintendent is received prior to entry dates. E. NO ITEM LARGER THAN 2’ X 3’ FLOOR SPACE ACCEPTED. F. Only department personnel will be allowed inside railing. G. Security will be on duty during entry and throughout the week of the fair. H. Dishes MUST be washed and other articles cleaned. Other small items must be in small boxes and secured. I. No damaged or chipped articles will be accepted. EXCEPTIONS AT SUPERINTENDENTS DISCRETION. J. CHAMPION AWARD AND SUPERINTENDENT AWARD ITEMS CANNOT BE RE-ENTERED OR RECEIVE A RIBBON FOR 10 YEARS. K. SUPREME CHAMPION ITEM CANNOT BE RE-ENTERED OR RECEIVE A RIBBON FOR 15 YEARS. L. Collections will consist of 6 (six) items only, SOME EXCEPTIONS MAY APPLY. Items must be of the same function, not matching and well displayed. M. The Eastern Idaho Fair District will take reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of exhibits entered. However, the owners themselves must take the risk of exhibiting the articles. In no case will the Eastern Idaho Fair District be responsible in any way for loss or damage to articles submitted. N. EXHIBITORS MUST IN ALL CASES BE THE BONA FIDE OWNERS OF ARTICLES EXHIBITED BY THEM. THE PERSON ENTERING THE ARTICLES FOR EXHIBIT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEM, AND MUST BE THE PERSON WHO PICKS THEM UP. P. Judging will be based upon the following criteria: age, condition, rarity, overall appearance and cleanliness. Acceptance of items for judging will be at the discretion of the judges, and/or superintendents. Q. TWO EXHIBITS ENTERED BY THE SAME PERSON OR HOUSEHOLD DOES NOT CONSTITUTE COMPETITION IN THE SAME CATEGORY AND/OR DIVISION, AND WILL NOT BE JUDGED. R. No entry will be accepted unless a category for it is listed in the Exhibitor Handbook. S. NO PREMIUM WILL BE PAID IF NO COMPETITION EXISTS – A COMPETITION CONSISTS OF A MINIMUM OF FOUR (4) OR MORE ENTRIES IN A SINGLE DEPARTMENT CLASS. T. Superintendents have the right to move an entry into a different class if the original entered class will not have enough entries for a competition to exist. U. Superintendents will be the only persons authorized to change class entries. V. Awards will be made according to the merits of the entry. If the judge decides an entry is not worthy of 1st place, the judge may disqualify the entry or the judge can choose to award 2nd place, or 3rd place premiums, this is at the judge’s discretion. If there is no competition for an entry, but the judge still deems that the entry would have been worthy of a blue ribbon it can be still be considered for any Department Special Awards. W.
