FAQs at Huntington Twin Drive-In

Can I bring outside ? Outside food and drinks are restricted without the purchase of an Outside Food Permit. Permits will be sold per car and per visit at the Box Office. This permit will allow you to bring in your choice of outside food. (No grills allowed.) This permit includes a voucher for either two (2) Medium Drinks and one (1) Medium or one (1) Large Drink and one (1) Large Popcorn redeemable at the concession stand. Unused vouchers expire at the end of the drive-in season. No refunds on unused concession vouchers will be given. Lost concession vouchers cannot be replaced. Please realize the drive-in only survives on our food and sales, so we appreciate it if you purchase items in the concession stand. We have worked hard to lower our prices and increase the selection of items this year. Exceptions: Bottled water and sugar free, non-caffeinated drinks are not counted as outside food. The concession stand will be open starting at 6:00 p.m. on nights that we are open.

Do you still show movies in the rain? Yes. Sometimes the ramps get a little muddy, but we show in all weather conditions, we will keep everyone informed if there is a need to take shelter. If we must take shelter, we will make an announcement over the radio and ask everyone to come to the concession stand, as this is the strongest building at the drive-in.

How do we get sound to hear the movies? We have HD Digital FM Transmitters so you can hear the audio through your car stereo! Screen 1 (yellow poles) is 98.5 FM Screen 2 (blue poles) is 94.5 FM. If you are concerned that your car battery will run down, please bring a battery powered, portable FM radio. We have a limited number of these for use in our Concession stand also. We also offer jump packs to help you restart your car.

Can we sit on top of the car? Please do not sit on top of your car. It is dangerous and blocks the view of the screen for those behind you. You may use lawn or camp chairs, but please place them in front of your car to conserve space for other guests

How many movies do I get to watch with my admission? All admissions are for one movie per night, unless we are hosting a special ‘Double Feature’ weekend. For ‘Double Features’, you get to enjoy 2 movies on a single screen for your admission price. Double Feature nights will typically be Friday and Saturday night and some holidays. Check our Facebook page and website for updates.

Do I have to stay for the entire movie? No, you may leave as you please. If you leave and then plan to come back in, you will be required to pay for another admission due to our insurance policy. Can I bring my dog? Yes, as long as they are friendly and on a leash. (You assume all responsibility for your pet, if your pet is disruptive you will be asked to leave and come back another night) if they need to relieve themselves please take them to the tree line away from all guests. Make sure to pick up after them.

Can I leave the theater to get food/etc.? No. Once you enter the drive-in, you will have to pay admission to re-enter if you leave and come back in. We do offer in our concession stand (slices or entire 14” ) along with dozens of other great items at reasonable prices.

Can I leave and come back in without being charged again? No, see above.

What is there to do before the movie? We have a large play area under Screen 1. You can play games, walk around the grounds, visit our concession stand, and enjoy the outdoors before the movie.

Do you have gift cards? Yes, you can purchase these at the concession stand.

Is alcohol allowed? No, we ask that you not bring alcohol to the drive-in. You are driving after all.

If I have van or suv, am I allowed to back in and open my hatch? Yes, as long as it does not obstruct the view of those parked behind you. If your hatch is sticking up too high, you need to tie down the hatch or reposition your vehicle to accommodate this.

Can I smoke? Yes, but please do so in a courteous manor, walk away from other guests parked next to you, and make sure to dispose of any cigarette butts properly.

How early should I arrive? On busy nights such as Fridays, Saturdays, or holidays, we suggest arriving when the gates open or sooner. We fill up fast once we open our gates on busy nights, and arriving early is the only way to get a good viewing spot.

When is ShowTime? The movies start at dusk.
