Finally, it was an honor to have the NKY Writing Region to have recognized senior Jacob Dressman for being nominated as an American Voices Medal Nominee. Of the five nominated writers, Jacob was then recognized on the national level as the American Voices recipiend for the NKY area. He also received a Gold Medal for his novel From Dusk to Dawn. Jacob read an excerpt from his novel at the ceremony, along with several other Gold Medal Recipients. Mrs. Teri Foltz, organizer of the NKY Writing Region, added, “The judges raved about Jacob’s writing style and plot.” We look forward to seeing more good things from Jacob in the future.
