Executive Order on the designation of buildings worthy of preservation in the local plan
Pursuant to section 21 a of the Listed Buildings and Preservation of Buildings and Urban Environments Act, cf. Consolidated Act No. 911 of 14 October 2001, the following is laid down:
1 – (1) Local authorities that collaborate with the Ministry of Culture, Heritage Agency of Denmark to map and register urban environments and buildings throughout the local authority area, in the latter case using the SAVE preservation method, shall decide on the designation of buildings worthy of preservation in the local plan.
(2) The designation decision, cf. subsection (1), shall be made in connection with the first strategy for local planning published more than one year after the completion of the mapping and registration project.
(3) As regards the local authorities that have completed the mapping and registration project as of 1 January 2002, the decision pursuant subsection (1) shall be made as part of the publication of a local planning strategy or in connection with an already published strategy by the end of 2003. These local authorities are listed in Annex 1.
2 – (1) Buildings worthy of preservation shall be designated in the local plan before the end of the local electoral period.
3 – (1) This Executive Order shall enter into force on 23 October 2002.
