2017 Spring Catalog W.Britain History in Miniature since 1893 wbritain.com Welcome to the 2017 Spring Stock catalog! This edition is full of exciting new additions to many of our ranges. Last year was our first year in our new world headquarters in Holland, Ohio and witnessed many improvements in the quality of our figures and accessories. You may notice that several of our older models have been replaced by new improved sculpts and, in some cases, appear in our newer collections. If you see an important figure missing, plan on seeing a newer adaptation in the near future. The first version of our long awaited American Civil War artillery limber appears in this catalog, along with some new Federal artillerymen and Iron Brigade figures. Two other ranges get important additions too. Our Napoleonic collection returns to Nassau troops for Waterloo and WWII gets new 101st Airborne Infantry. Look for a substantial summer edition catalog in a few months. All the best, Kenneth A. The matte figures are 56/58mm-1/30 scale and are painted in a hyper- realistic style with shading and highlighting, all with a matte finish for an added touch of realism. The glossy figures are a true 54mm figure and are painted in the classic style with 54mm simple, neat painting finished in a high gloss lacquer. 56/58 mm-1/30 Scale Some images shown in this catalogue are prototypes. There may be minor variations in details during production. Welcome Home e are very happy to have celebrated our Wfirst year anniversary at our Holland, Ohio location. Our new offices and warehouse are just south of Toledo near I-80 and I-75, making it very accessible for anyone traveling in the area. Now that we have settled in, we thought you might like to see a few pictures from last year. Every figure we make starts here – from concept and design, creation of masters, photography and graphics. All of the finished pieces for our distribution also arrives here at our warehouse. We like to say that we have one of the largest “mint in box” collection around, but it is ever changing. In addition to using our huge on-site reference library, we assemble original artifacts or museum quality reproductions to confirm shape, size and colors for our figures. We also have models pose in proper historic clothing, and we sculpt many of the masters on site, making it a true hands-on operation. We spend a lot of time at the building so we decided early on that we needed to have a few of our favorite things here, including occasional visits from Natasha our favorite kitty. Although our showroom is still a work in progress, please feel free to call and stop by for a visit when you are in the area.
