Are your dog tags standard military size? We carry several various sizes. Our largest size is the 4010 XL Dog Tag that is 25 mm x 45 mm or approximately 1” x 1.75”. Please refer to image on the left for actual sizes.

Are proofs available? Yes, we offer a proof for an additional fee which includes 1 proof via email. If you would like further changes; additional proofing fees will apply. If your product does not include a proof option, simply add the proof product to your cart in addition to the product that is to be engraved. Proofs are complimentary for solid gold and platinum orders.

How long will it take to engrave and ship my order? Depending on the volume of engraving orders, generally 1-2 business days for an item to be completed, an additional 1-3 business days if a proof is required. Orders that require a file may take 1-2 business days once file is received. Many pieces, however, are engraved on the same day they are ordered. We do same day engraving and shipping on expedited orders. If you need your item to arrive by a certain date, simply let us know.

How to submit your prints? You may use a digital fingerprint scanner. Or you may simply use an ink pad on plain white paper. A good print is the entire finger (or hand/foot) clear and complete with detail-no smudges. Take a digital photo of the print. Fill the frame without cutting off the print or getting too close it blurs. A sharply focused print with good lighting works best. Large images work best. Upload during order process or place order, then reply to order confirmation and attach files.

How to submit your photo or handwriting? A large photo works best. For photo pendants- do not crop too closely on subject- allow room for engraver to best fit. Handwriting files- fill frame without cutting off writing. Sharp focus is important. Petite and Standard Styles Compared side by side. Jewelry shown actual size. Files should appear large on screen with good detail and lighting. Tiny or low resolution photos that are blurry with bad lighting are not recommended and we cannot guarantee satisfaction. We will do our best to assess whether the quality is sufficient prior to engraving. The end result really depends on the quality of the photo.
