August 2006 Der FC Zürich Meistertrainer, der nicht leicht zu verstehen ist Dass sich Lucien Favre in Zürich durchgesetzt hat, ist ein kleines Wunder Ende der neunziger Jahre verwirklichten die Verantwortlichen des Kleinklubs Yverdon-Sports einen Traum. Sie holten den Jungtrainer Lucien Favre und liessen ihm freie Hand. Aller Anfang ist schwer - Yverdon hatte kein Gesicht. Favre wechselte 1997 den Kurs und nach sechs Monaten 14 von 18 Spielern aus. Und siehe da: Nach einem Übergangsjahr promovierte Yverdon 1999 in die oberste Spielklasse. Etliche Brasilianer standen auf dem Rasen, der Verein wurde des Ballzaubers wegen liebevoll «Yverdinho» genannt. Die Technik, die Taktik, die Schnelligkeit und die Ball-Zirkulation beeindruckten. Es war, als ob elf «Mini-Favres» auf dem Platz stünden. Sieben Jahre später wird der Trainer Favre mit dem FC Zürich Meister. Ein Blick genügt, um die Erinnerungen an Yverdon aufzufrischen. Der FCZ hat das spielstärkste Team der Liga. Jeder, der sich zur Offensiv-Fraktion zählt, weiss mit dem Ball umzugehen: Rafael, Alphonse, César, Dzemaili, Inler und Margairaz, der Inbegriff aller «Mini- Favres». Dass die bisweilen überbordende und fehleranfällige Filigran- Technik der im Schnitt 23 Jahre jungen Mannschaft Grenzen hat, offenbarten die gegen Salzburg verlorene Qualifikation zur Champions League und die 1:3-Niederlage am Samstag in St. Gallen. Der FCZ trägt die Handschrift Favres - mit allen Vor- und Nachteilen. Schwieriger FCZ-Start Der Romand reiht die Stationen seiner Trainerkarriere auf, hat vieles präsent und sagt, die Schultern zuckend, als wollte er sich entschuldigen: «Ich hatte überall Erfolg.» Aufstieg mit dem neben seinem Heimatort St-Barthélemy gelegenen FC Echallens in die Nationalliga B 1994, «Yverdinho» 1999/ 2000, Cup-Sieg 2001 und Uefa-Cup- Achtelfinal 2002 mit Servette, Cup- Sieg 2005 und Meistertitel 2006 mit dem FCZ.

    Un joli vent de fraîcheur Tout d’abord je vous souhaite une bonne année au niveau de la santé avec un maximum de bonheur pour tout le monde et accessoirement quelques exploits de nos équipes fétiches. J’ai volontairement attendu ce mercredi pour faire cet article car aujourd’hui avait lieu l’annonce de la première liste de nouveau staff de l’équipe de France emmené par Fabien Galthié. Au niveau de la première ligne, il y a trois petits nouveaux avec la présence de deux toulonnais, Jean- Baptiste Gros en pilier gauche et au talonnage l’ancien joueur de Bayonne Anthony Etrillard, au poste de pilier droit un tout nouveau en la personne de Mohamed Haouas,. En seconde ligne, il y a aussi deux petits nouveaux avec la première convocation du deuxième ligne du Racing 92, le jeune Boris Pallu, formé au Racing et qui prend de plus en plus de temps de jeu dans l’effectif francilien, il a également l’avantage d’être polyvalent et de pouvoir évoluer au sein de leur troisième ligne. L’autre nouveau est déjà double champion du monde des moins de 20 ans, il s’agit de Kilian Gerassi, ancien grenoblois et actuel joueur de Lyon. C'est un bon joueur mais pour moi l’autre joueur du Lou jouant au même poste avec la même couleur de cheveux, en l’occurrence Félix Lembey, aurait pu tout autant avoir sa place dans ce groupe compte tenu de son expérience supérieure à celle de son jeune coéquipier,. Autre enseignement à ce poste de seconde ligne, Fabien Galthié a fait confiance à Bernard le Roux déjà présent lors de la dernière Coupe du Monde et seul trentenaire du groupe de 42, et sinon on peut aussi noter le retour du deuxième sud-africain d’origine, Paul Willemse qui avait dû renoncer à la coupe du monde suite à une blessure juste avant la préparation.
