Unusual courtroom story as Stewart plays a country lawyer defending a soldier who killed a man who allegedly raped his wife. Scott, in his film debut, is the big-city lawyer helping the prosecution.

In the days before D-Day, an admiral’s adjutant is assigned to lead a film crew to photograph the 1st sailor on Omaha Beach. Garner and Andrews have both cited this film as the favorite of their careers.
