Following this, Gerry has spent a similar length of time teaching in the Faculty of Health Studies at the University of Bradford, developing undergraduate and postgraduate courses with the NHS, independent sector, and outside the UK. For the last nine years he has worked in the field of patient safety, alongside research colleagues at the Bradford Institute for Health Research. Gerry continues to work on various nationally funded research projects, knowledge transfer and related healthcare improvement activities.
