Sydney Water (Stormwater Drainage Areas) Order 2011 under the Sydney Water Act 1994
MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 65 of the Sydney Water Act 1994, make the following Order. Dated, this 24th day of August 2011.

GREG PEARCE, MLC Minister for Finance and Services Explanatory note The Sydney Water Act 1994 gives Sydney Water the power to make and levy stormwater drainage area charges on the owners of land within a stormwater drainage area. The object of this Order is to repeal the declaration of all existing stormwater drainage areas and declare new areas. This Order is made under section 65 of the Sydney Water Act 1994 and section 43 (2) of the Interpretation Act 1987.

Sydney Water (Stormwater Drainage Areas) Order 2011 under the Sydney Water Act 1994
1 Name of Order This Order is the Sydney Water (Stormwater Drainage Areas) Order 2011.
2 Commencement This Order commences on 1 July 2012.
3 Definitions In this Order: map means a map held in the office of Sydney Water Corporation. the Act means the Sydney Water Act 1994.
4 Repeal of existing orders Any order in force (or taken to be in force) under section 65 of the Act on the commencement of this Order is repealed.
5 Declaration of stormwater drainage areas For the purposes of section 65 (1) of the Act, each area specified in Column 1 of Schedule 1 (being the area shown edged heavy red on the map specified opposite that area in Column 2 of that Schedule) is declared to be a stormwater drainage area.
