TTA Public IP Camera Certificate KISA Intelligent CCTV Solution Certificate Stadiums & Large Venues

• Many stadiums and large venues desired to have complete camera coverage of the “bowl” or seating areas.

• Traditionally this requires many cameras and is inefficient in locating a subject for live viewing or reviewing recorded footage. Easily manage operations.

• 8K allows higher detail levels so fewer cameras can cover wider areas for more efficient operations.

• This also saves on costs with fewer cameras to install, maintain, power, provide network ports, cabling, purchase accessories, UPS, cooling, etc. Stadiums in the US

• There are more than 140 “major stadiums” in the US. • There are more than 240 stadiums in the US with a seating capacity of 18,000 or more.

• Each stadium has many seating areas, walkways, ramps, and congregation areas that accommodate thousands of people. What is 8K, and why do I care?

• 8K is the next evolution in resolution beyond 4K. • It is typically defined as an image or video having a resolution of 7680x4320. Do I need an 8K monitor?

• No. You can use a standard or monitor to run your surveillance system.

• An 8K camera allows for higher forensic detail when zooming in to your video to provide more magnification with less pixilation. This allows you to count people, vehicles, etc. more accurately. So, where should I use an 8K camera? What makes large venues challenging? • Lots of congregation areas without chokepoints Huge expanses of parking areas Huge seating areas Indoor stadiums provide easy camera mounting from above Goal of high resolution cameras with long range lenses… Approximate pixel densities - DORI
