Dear Friends of the Manchester Irish festival

It is great to welcome you back to another year of Irish Arts, Culture, Music and Dance from the Irish community of Manchester.

On behalf of the festival we would like to cordially invite you to join in and help us celebrate our two week festival which is one of Europe's biggest Irish celebrations. It is an exciting part of our wonderful City life and we are very proud of its achievements.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our Sponsors, Manchester City Council and our volunteers, without their support we would not be able to put on this 16 day extravaganza.

Please come down and show your support on Sunday 13th March for the festival parade, which this year is celebrating its twenty first anniversary.

We hope you enjoy a Happy St. Patrick’s Day.

Finally do not to forget to tick the box that says you are Irish in this year’s census. Remember you can tick it if you have any Irish roots, you do not have to have been born there to tick the Irish box.

Co-Chairs, Cllr. John Flanagan and Kevin Fitzpatrick.
