At the end of the study, 24 species and subspecies were collected from the subfamilies Vespinae, Polistinae and Eumeninae. Vespa crabro Linnaeus, 1758; Vespula (Paravespula) vulgaris (Linnaeus, 1758); Polistes (Polistes) associus Kohl, 1898; Polistes (Polistes) biglumis (Linnaeus, 1758); Allodynerus floricola floricola (de Saussure, 1853); Eumenes pomiformis (Fabricius, 1781); Ancistrocerus longispinosus (de Saussure, 1855); Ancistrocerus parietum (Linnaeus, 1758) and Symmorphus (Symmorphus) gracilis (Brullé, 1833) were reported as new records for Adana province. In this study, it is aimed to contribute to the Vespidae fauna of Adana province. A key, updated diagnoses, and data on distribution are given for the subgenus and its four species, including M. tomi sp. n. (Georgia and Dagestan), and the previously unknown male of M. armeniacus Drapolyuk, 1989. Illustrations of the male and female genitalia, photographs of the dorsal habitus, and SEM micrographs of selected structures are provided for all species of the subgenus. -

Академическая, 27, 220072 Минск, Республика Беларусь, [email protected] ВИДЫ РОДА AGENIOIDEUS ASHMEAD, 1902 (HYMENOPTERA, POMPILIDAE) ФАУНЫ БЕЛАРУСИ В результате 30-летних сборов в регионе отловлено 215 экземпляров ос рода Agenioideus, относящихся к двум видам: A. cinctellus (98,7%) и A. sericeus (1,3%). A. cinctellus встречается на всей территории республики, а A. sericeus обнаружен только в её южной части. Виды, зарегистрированные на территории Беларуси, обитают преимущественно в открытых биотопах. Наибольшая активность выявленных видов приходится на июль. На основании изучения полученного материала и литературных источников, была составлена определительная таблица из 6 видов рода Agenioideus. Работа выполнена при поддержке Белорусского республиканского фонда фундаментальных исследований (договор № Б15-049). Shlyakhtyonok The Scientific and Practical Center for Bioresources of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, 27, Akademicheskaya str., 220072 Minsk, Belarus, [email protected] THE SPECIES OF THE GENUS AGENIOIDEUS ASHMEAD, 1902 (HYMENOPTERA, POMPILIDAE) OF THE BELARUSIAN FAUNA As a result of 30-year gathering in the region, 215 specimens of the genus Agenioideus, belonging to two species, were caught: A. cinctellus (98.7%) and A. sericeus (1.3%). A. cinctellus is found throughout the entire territory of the republic, and A. sericeus is found only in its southern part. The species registered in Belarus live mainly in open biotopes. The peak of activity of the identified species is in July. -

Specimens of this species were collected in the years 2009-2018 at several sites located in three zoogeographic regions: Mazowiecka Lowland, Trzebnickie Hills and Wielkopolsko- Kujawska Lowland. In addition, new sites for 9 other species of Deraeocorinae are given. Identifying features of Deraeocoris flavilinea (A. COSTA, 1862) as well as information on distribution of Bothynotus pilosus (BOHEMAN, 1852) are discussed. Key words: biodiversity, distribution, faunistics, new records, plant bugs, true bugs. INTRODUCTION The subfamily Deraeocorinae is represented in the world fauna by almost 120 genera bringing together about 800 species (SCHUH 2002-2013, WEIRAUCH & SCHUH 2020). -

Meconema meridionale Costa, 1860 es citada por vez primera para la Península Ibérica y España; se describe el macho, desconocido hasta ahora, de Cyrtaspis tuberculata Barranco, 2005, gracias al descubrimiento de una nueva población de la especie en la provincia de Málaga; se describe una subespecie nueva de Canariola emarginata Newman, 1964, propia de sierra Tejeda (Granada); se discute la identidad taxonómica de las poblaciones ibéricas identificadas como Cyrtaspis scutata (Charpentier, 1825) a partir del estudio taxonómico preliminar de una nueva población andaluza afín a la especie; finalmente, se incluye una clave de identificación para el conjunto de especies ibéricas, ilustrándose por vez primera las distintas estructuras morfológicas de la terminalia abdominal de cada una de ellas a partir de registros fotográficos realizados sobre especímenes frescos. Paride Dioli Gli Eterotteri (Heteroptera) del Monte Barro I (Italia, Lombardia, Lecco) ~f, Riassunto - Nel corso di una ricerca sugli Eterotteri del Monte Barro sono state censite 169 specie, di cui 13 vengono segnalate per la prima volta in Lombardia. Esse sono: Bothynotus pilosus, Dicyphus annulatus, Phytocoris dimidiatus, Pina• litus atomarius, Heterocordylus tumidicornis, Globiceps horvathi, Driophylocoris flavoquadrimaculatus, Harpocera thoraci• ca, Heterocapillus tigripes, Berytinus minor, Berytinus clavipes, Heterogaster cathariae e Megalonotus dilatatus. Sono state inoltre confrontate mediante una cluster analysis le nove principali stazioni di campionamento delle specie. Dal punto di vi• sta zoogeografico è emerso che la maggior parte delle specie presenta ampia distribuzione in Asia ed Europa, mentre l'e• lemento mediterraneo è scarsamente rappresentato, anche in relazione all'assenza di piante ospiti stenomediterranee. Awenda Provincial Park
AWENDA PROVINCIAL PARK One Malaise trap was deployed at Awenda Provincial Park in 2014 (44.82534, -79.98458, 231m ASL; Figure 1). This trap collected arthropods for twenty weeks from April 29 – September 19, 2014. All 10 Malaise trap samples were processed; every other sample was analyzed using the individual specimen protocol while the second half was analyzed via bulk analysis. A total of 3029 BINs were obtained. Over half the BINs captured were flies (Diptera), followed by bees, ants and wasps (Hymenoptera), moths and butterflies (Lepidoptera), and true bugs (Hemiptera; Figure 2). www.nature.com/scientificreports OPEN Local habitat conditions shaping the assemblages of vespid wasps (Hymenoptera: Vespidae) in a post-agricultural landscape of the Kampinos National Park in Poland Katarzyna Szczepko 1*, Andrzej Kruk 2* & Bogdan Wiśniowski 3 The landscape of the Kampinos National Park (KPN), a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in Poland, is a mosaic of habitats created by natural processes and human activities. However, ongoing abandonment of traditional management has led to the development of forest communities in formerly open areas. The aim of the study was to identify the local habitat conditions promoting the abundance and diversity of wasp species (Vespidae) in the post-agricultural landscape of KPN. A total of 52 samples of Vespidae caught per unit efort (CPUE) were collected across various habitats with diferent levels of soil humidity, bare ground and mosaicity. The highest numbers and greatest species richness of vespids were recorded in open habitats on semihydrogenic and dry soil, which provided nesting sites for hypergeic (nesting above the ground) and endogeic (ground nesting) wasps. Many solitary species that are hypergeic were signifcantly associated with old, abandoned wooden buildings. As vespids need resources to build and provision the nest, their communities were shaped not only by the nature of the habitat sampled but also by the mosaicity of the surrounding area. The highest abundance and species richness were recorded in samples from a heterogenous landscape, which provided a wider range of available resources in the vicinity of the nest. Our fndings have signifcant implications for the management of park landscapes: aforestation of open habitats, both human-induced and resulting from natural succession, and the removal of old abandoned wooden buildings may limit landscape mosaicity and thus decrease hymenopteran diversity.
