In the early years of World War II, a frail Steve Rogers was recruited into a secret Allied project and given a Super Soldier Serum that pushed his low- level abilities to the peak of human perfection by Dr. He obtained the rank of Captain, eventually becoming known as Captain America. His Army serial number was At some point he gained a sidekick named Bucky Barnes. During their time on the battlefields, he became the main obstacle in the way of the powerful villain known as Red Skull. This led him to become a symbol for the United States of America against their enemies. Intending Meet Captain America infect and annihilate the Allied forces, the Baron was stopped by Cap. In the ensuing fight, a large batch of the Virus was drenched upon Zemo, adhering his mask right to his face and infecting his vital bodily systems. Captain America and Bucky managed to infiltrate Meet Captain America base. After infiltrating the base they witnessed Red Skull capturing a large group of strange creatures. Skull revealed that he had found a way to access the Bifrost Bridge and bring creatures from Asgard and the Nine Realms. Skull intended to use them to defeat the Allies. Captain America and Bucky. However, the Frost Giant leader Ymir came through the portal and released the other creatures. Captain America and Bucky got free and defeated the Asgardian creatures. Skull then ran out intending to flee. Skull got to a rocket and began to launch. Captain America told Bucky to stay behind but the sidekick ignored him. The two climbed aboard the rocket and Captain America confronted Skull. However, Skull was prepared Meet Captain America ejected. Someone had to stop the rocket from exploding and Captain America Meet Captain America to stop it Meet Captain America. As he fell into the icy ocean below he saw the rocket and Bucky explode. He then became frozen in a state of suspended animation for decades. They brought him back to life only for him to attack all of them when he mistakes them for HYDRA forces except for Waspwho showed him a statue commemorating his sacrifice. He was motivated by Wasp to continue fighting supervillians, the first of which was Baron Zemo. During this Meet Captain America, Cap was saved by Black Panther when Zemo was about to finish him off. After this fight, he grew to like his new century and he joined their team. Later, Cap was given his old motorcycle back by Nick Furywhose father Cap fought alongside during the war. Shortly thereafter, he helped battle Wonder Man. He and the other Avengers at the time were in the Avengers Mansion trying to find out who saved him during his fight with Baron Zemo, when the same person who saved him came and attacked the four Avengers. He went to Wakanda with the rest of his team and fought the new ruler there. After doing this, Black Panther joined their team. Captain America went with his teammates to investigate the Meet Captain America of Hawkeye. They then chased him down, but were confronted by S. Meet Captain America were assigned to thwart the evil efforts of the Leader. As they went on to fight him, Captain America was given a new suit. Captain America and Black Panther defeated Zemo, only for the former to disappear. Captain America later pondered why Zemo seemed so sure of his victory. They then assist in the battle royal, teaming up to take down Grim Reaper. They escaped the base while it was crumbling and Meet Captain America back to safety. Captain America tried to convince Iron Man he should learn how to fight without his armor, but Iron Man didn't see why. Captain America offered to have a sparring session, which Hawkeye and Hulk watched and laughed about due to Iron Man hurting himself every time he hit Steve. They encountered Kang the Conquerorwho informed them that Earth would be destroyed due to Captain America. Cap was willing to sacrifice himself to save the world, but, Iron Man ordered the Avengers to attack Kang. Captain America threw his shield at Kang, but, who managed to catch it before it could hit him, then sent it back. When Iron Man fired a missile, Kang deflected it and Cap blocked with his Meet Captain America. He then defends Tony alongside Thor while he hacks Kang's Meet Captain America chair. Later, Cap helps in the battle against Kang's army, first saving two boys. Throwing his shield seems to work best on the robots. He assists in the bridge evacuation and fights alongside Hawkeye. At the time drive, Cap helps battle Kang, eventually being trapped in an energy bubble. He is saved by Meet Captain America Man, then battles Kang with him. Cap deals the final blow when it comes to defeating Kang. Later, Cap congratulates Tony on his prowess. Cap helps battle the Dark Elf spirits when Malekith unleashes them. At one point, he's saved by the Human Torchwho then skywrites "You owe me. M war. He also inspired the Hulk by seeing the hero in the Hulk. Not only that, but he had another confrontation with Baron Wolfgang von Struckerwho tried to steal his youth, though he was saved by Hawkeye. Both Strucker and Cap then touched the Cosmic Cube, which, unknown to them, brought Bucky back to life. Cap initially helped battle the Serpent Society. He was then attacked by Ultron alongside Hawkeye and Jane Foster in the training room, though he shut it down. In the battle with Ultron, Cap is severely hurt and has Meet Captain America be taken to the hospital. He was on the Meet Captain America side until they were transported to Niffleheimwhen Dynamo was distracted by the spirits, Cap KO'ed him. In Niffleheim, Meet Captain America is plagued by visions of his dead war buddies. He then makes Hela send him back, signing his soul to her should he die. He directs the team in taking out Hoarfen the Ice-Wolf. During the fight against Lokihis vibranium shield was destroyed. After the battle for Asgardhe was replaced by an unidentified Skrull infiltrator who knocked him out. Meet Captain America interrogates the Skrull Interrogator. Captain America spent two months in captivity on the Skrull ship located near the rings of Saturnduring which he endured horrendous and severe torture that no human should be able to have endure and mockingly called them "little green men". After defeating some Skrull impostors who looked like the Avengers, Captain America escaped his cell, taking a Skrull scientist hostage to learn that the Skrull's have infiltrated Earth in an attempt claim it as their own. He then frees all the other prisoners who were replaced by Skrull impostors including Madame ViperS. Agent Clay QuartermainA. Cap leads the fight out of the ship and teams with Viper to battle the Super-Skrull. They are then Meet Captain America by Invisible Woman and then piloted a Skrull ship back to Earth. Upon arriving near the moon, Captain America asked Quartermain what was the fast way they could get them down to Earth. Quartermain told him they had a option, which was to dock unto S. Damocles base which has probably already been infiltrated by Meet Captain America Skrull. Captain America battled against his Skrull doppelganger impersonator. The battle between the two was quite intense and ferocious with the Skrull cap having the advantage over Rogers until Rogers informs his doppelganger that there is more to humanity than just their bodies and minds that Meet Captain America them strong it's their willing spirit to never give up or surrender and with that Captain America defeats him. Rogers reclaims his place in the Avengers and realized the hard time he was going to have reinstating his reputation which is ruined by his Skrull doppelganger. Captain America and Spider-Man. In Washington the US government is discussing a plan to stop enemies from secretly joining their ranks and sabotaging them from the inside. Que J. Arthur Grover head of the Federal Bureau of Investigation has a plan to stop such things. Mister Grover Meet Captain America the disguised army officials to an innocent looking shop of curiosities, but the shop is far from that. An old woman behind the counter leads the men through the building to a heavily barred door where it is opened by a scientist. Inside the room they find a laboratory. The old woman they've been following removes her face, revealing it was a mask to hide her identity. This young beautiful woman was Agent X Afterwards the men have a seat in an adjacent room with a large window and await the new experiment about to begin. Inside the room they Meet Captain America a frail young man who volunteered to take part in the procedure next to a scientist by the name of Professor Reinstein. Professor Reinstein injects the young man with a strange seething liquid, moments later the young man isn't so frail as his muscles start to grow. Professor Reinstein displays the now changed man as Captain AmericaAmerica's savior against the saboteurs, spies, and enemies. The success is soon short lived as one of the men led in by agent X jumps out of his chair and begins opening fire at Mister Grover and Reinstein, killing Reinstein and shattering the serum that transformed Captain America. Captain America pulls the spy through the glass window and gives him a few good punches; the assassin starts to stumble back into some laboratory equipment, Meet Captain America himself to death. Seeing little choice Steve accepts Bucky Meet Captain America Captain America's young crime fighting partner. Captain America and his sidekick Bucky investigate a couple of suspicious individuals who claim to predict the future. Without missing a beat Captain America begins his assault on the men and Bucky manages to free himself. In a last ditch effort the newly revealed Sando Von Krantz pulls out a bomb. Bucky disarms Krantz of the bomb and tosses it from the window saving everyone inside. In a shoddy old basement in a shoddy run down house awaits Rothcone and his flunkies. Rothcone is using his chessboard to strategize who he will have assassinated in the United States Army. The first target that catches the creep's eye is Admiral Perkins who's found dead on stage in a theater. Captain America and Bucky chase down the suspect known only as 15 by his men. Bucky is able to Meet Captain America up to him pretty easily but 15 pulls out a knife. Captain America bull rushes him causing the knife to fall and to allow Cap to question the man. However before he can talk he, Bucky, and Captain America are fired upon by his own men. Captain America luckily deflects the bullets with his shield protecting himself and Meet Captain America. Later back Meet Captain America camp Private Rogers and Bucky are sent on a special assignment to watch over General Ellsworth, but upon getting to his tent the duo discover the General is dead having been strangled to death. Afterwards seeing Captain America and Bucky as the next threat to his plan Rothcone puts them on the list only he wants them alive. Herr Kamelon orders the man who strangled the general Meet Captain America fill out this plan. The strangler or 13 has he is referred Meet Captain America by Herr Kamelon lures Bucky to Rothcone's hideout telling the boy he's taking him to the person doing the murders. Bucky agrees, but not before writing a note for Meet Captain America and leaving it in his tent. When Bucky makes it down to the basement of the villain's hideout he is confronted by Meet Captain America who knocks him out. Just as this was happening Private Steve Rogers discovers Bucky's note and makes his way to Rothcone's hideout. Captain America dispatches "13" on the way to the basement it is there that he is met with a tied up Bucky and a gun in his back. Captain America kicks the Chessboard at Meet Captain America then continue to make quick work of him. Shortly after the confrontation Captain America unties Bucky and they defeat the incoming assassins. Once dealt with the two look around and find the enemy's plans, ending any future involvement the group was and will be partaking in. After a normal day of dropping off Major Croy at his home, Private Steve Rogers warns the major of a suspicious Red Skull card he had gotten earlier. The major however writes it off as a prank and goes about his business, sending Rogers Meet Captain America Bucky on their way. Little did the major know the Red Skull sneaked into his home right behind him while he read. The fiendish Red Skull began to strangle the major spouting out " Look at death! Look at death! Later the body is Meet Captain America by Steve and Bucky, they do the right thing and phone the police. While the police officer is busy with the crime scene Steve and Bucky Meet Captain America this chance to change into their alter egos Captain America and Bucky. Captain America heads off on his own telling Bucky to stay put; however the stubborn boy Meet Captain America he is heads off on his own to look for the Red Skull. While investigating Bucky accidentally stumbles onto the hideout of the the Red Skull when he peers through a sunroof of a building, but he ends up alerting the guards to his presence and gets himself captured. Their victory Meet Captain America not last long however because Captain America charges in and helps Meet Captain America defeat the group of terrorists, but the Red Skull did manage to escape after using a secret escape door. Seeing little else they could do the two heroes head back Meet Captain America camp. The test goes wrong causing the plane to crash leaving Steve to worry about the men on board, while Maxon only cared about the plane. After General Charles Manor, who oversaw the test heads home his wife gives him a package that came for him. The general opens the package only to discover a red skull and a card signed by the Red Skull saying that his Meet Captain America was up. Moments later the Red Skull makes his move strangling the general all the while saying " Look at death! Soon after the general's wife rushes in pistol in-hand to discover the corpse of her now late husband, but shes no match for the Red Skull who smacks her away. Before the villain could make his escape however, Captain America charges in and tackles the Red Skull. After a handful of blows back and forth the Red Skull manages to knock Captain America out cold. Just as he was about to take the life from him Bucky flanks the Red Skull biding enough time to allow Captain America to wake up and throw a punch at his foe causing the Red Skull's "skull" to shatter, revealing it was just a mask. Underneath the mask they discover it to be Mister Maxon and that he was using a type of poison to kill his victims. While confronting him about it Maxon tries to escape but Bucky tackles him only to have Maxon roll over on his own poisonous needle. Afterwards Bucky questions Cap as to why he didn't stop it from happening, but Captain America Meet Captain America it alone. The two later discover on Maxon's body that he had a letter from Hitler stating that when America was in Meet Captain America control Maxon would be given the post of Minister of all American Industry for his " excellent spy work" thus revealing his motivation.
