Brodick Castle Achamore Gardens Arran’s capital, Brodick

Itinerary Continued… Wednesday 1st July 2020 Journey to the nearby island of Gigha today, situated near the beautiful Kintyre peninsula. Visit pretty Achamore Gardens, a wonderful botanical area to stroll through. Enjoy a light lunch at Gigha Hotel (at own expense), returning to Arran with free time before dinner. (B,D)

Thursday 2nd July 2020 Head to Arran Museum this morning, for a wonderful insight into Arran’s local history. Perhaps enjoy tea and cake (at own expense) in the little tearoom here, before we head onwards to Arran’s wonderful Whisky Distillery, the home of Arran Gold. Enjoy touring the distillery and learning about the art of whisky making, awarded Best Visitor Experience in 2018 - with included whisky tasting too! (B,D) Friday 3rd July 2020 Say goodbye to the beautiful Isle of Arran today, as we take a return ferry to the Scottish mainland. Heading down towards Moffat, enjoy a lunch stop here (at own expense). Regrettably, this tour is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with mobility difficulties. There is no lift at the hotel used and we will be using ferry crossings in which steps will be encountered. Island terrain may be rugged and uneven.
