HOUSING RESOURCES

While first year undergraduate students must live on campus during their first semester(s), older students, scholars, and visitors have more options off-campus. Apartment and house rentals leases usually last for one year. Keep in mind that rental costs are higher for centrally located homes in Downtown State College. While there are cheaper rental options available across the State College Area, some are more accessible than others—if you do not have a vehicle, it may be important for you to be near a CATA Bus stop (see “Transportation” Resource List for more information).
