ORDER UNDER REGULATION 63 A. I, the Commissioner of , in exercise of the powers vested in me by Regulation 63A of the Emergency Powers (Public Safety and Order) Regula­ tions, 1955 to (No. 1) 1958, do hereby order as follows :— 1. This Order may be cited as the Prohibition of Sound Signals () (No. 1) Order, 1958. 2. No person within the area specified in the Schedule to this Order shall :— (a) use any megaphone or sound any whistle at any time ; (b) sound any siren, horn, hooter or bell (including any Church bells) between the hours of 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. in each day. 3. The Order shall not apply :— (a) to sirens, horns or any form of sound signal used by the Police Force or members of Her Majesty's Forces, the use of which is authorized by me ; (b) to horns used on motor vehicles. 4. The Order shall come into force at 8 p.m. on the third day of July, 1958. SCHEDULE. The Municipal Area of Nicosia, the Improvement Board Areas of , , Kaimakli, Palouriotissa and the village areas of , Trakhonas, Eylenja, Orta Keuy, Omorphita.

ORDER MADE UNDER REGULATION 3 9A. Whereas I, the Commissioner of the District of , am satisfied that the building described in the Schedule hereto (hereinafter referred as " the building ") is a building which is being used by terrorists, in exercise of the powers vested in me by Regulation 39A of the Emergency Powers (Public Safety and Order) Regulations, 1955 to (No. 1) 1958, with the approval of the Governor, do hereby order as follows :— 1. This Order may be cited as the Emergency Powers (Forfeiture and Demolition) () (No. 2) Order, 1958, and shall come into force on the 8th day of July, 1958. 2. It is hereby directed that the building and its contents be forfeited and demolished.

SCHEDULE. The building known as " Anorthosis " club standing on Plot Nos. 246, St°' ™2' ?43, 244' 249' 24I> 25°' 25x» 252 and 253 of Government Survey Plan Block D, Ayios Nicolaos Quarter, Varosha Town, in the District of Famagusta.
