BUSTED ILLEGAL MONEY TRANSFER RACKET – SEIZED NET CASH OF Rs.1,01,50,000/- (RUPEES ONE CRORE ONE LAKH FIFTY THOUSAND) – HELD FIVE PERSONS

On 16-12-2019 the sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, East Zone Team simultaneously apprehended (5) persons who are carrying out illegal money transfer at two different places in the limits of PS Afzalgunj. Seized total Net Cash of Rs.1,01,50,000/- (Rupees One Crore One Lakh Fifty Thousand) Only from their possession.

RESPONDENTS :-

1. M. Eshwar Reddy, age 56yrs, Occ: Tent House Business, R/o Flat No 9, Near D Mart, Vth Phase, KPHB Colony, .

2. Rajesh Sharma, age 43 yrs, Occ: Business, R/o Near SBI Bank lane, Gowliguda, Hyderabad, N/o Mumbai-2, Maharashtra.

3. Ramraj Parmar, age 25 yrs, Occ: Business, R/o Near SBI Bank lane, Gowliguda, Hyderabad, N/o Morena, City Kothwal, Madhya Pradesh.

4. Prakash Singh @ Ganapath, age 35 yrs, Occ: Cloth Business/Hawala Operator, R/o Yadav Nivas, Afzalgunj, Hyderabad N/o Verul, Chanchur (T) Jalore District Rajasthan.

5. Vishal Sawanth, age 29 yrs, Occ: Goldsmith, R/o Near Marwadi press, Ashok Bazar, Afzalgunj, Hyderabad, N/o Sangola(V), Zilla Sholapur, Maharashtra.

MODUS OPERANDI :-

On 16-12-2019 on credible information the Commissioner’s Task Force, East Zone team intercepted one person by name M.Eshwar Reddy infront of Balaji Sweets, Ashok Bazar, Gowliguda, Hyderabad who was carrying unaccounted cash of Rs.80,00,000/- (Eighty lakhs rupees) in a traveler bag without having any valid document and after causing enquiry with him regarding the said cash he informed that he as per the instructions of one Raj Kumar, MD of Dynamic Tools Ltd., came and collected the cash from Rajesh Sharma, Prakash Singh @ Ganapath and Ram Raj Parmar at Osman Shahi, Gowliguda, Hyderabad.

Further on the lead of respondent M.Eshwar Reddy apprehended 04-persons namely Rajesh Sharma, Ramraj Parmar, Prakash Singh @ Ganpath and Vishal Sawanth infront of Yadav Nivas, Osman Shahi, Gowliguda, Hyderabad who were in possession of unaccounted Cash of Rs. 21,50,000/- (Twenty One Lakhs Fifty Thousand Rupees only) in a black bag.

On enquiry the above respondents did not reveal any account or any valid document of the said cash which they were carrying. Hence seized Total Cash of Rs.1,01,50,000/- (Rupees One Crore One Lakh Fifty Thousand) from the possession of the above 05-respondents. The above respondents along with seized cash were handed over to IT Department for further investigation.

NABBED DRUG PEDDLER–SEIZED (05) GRAMS OF HEROIN, 28- LSDs, 32- ECSTASY (AMPHETAMINE DRUG), AND 3 KGs OF GANJA- TOTAL WORTH OF RS 2.5 LAKHS.

On 20-12-2019, the sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team with the assistance of Marredpally Police apprehended two persons who are found in possession of Narcotic substance and supplying the same in Hyderabad. Seized (05) grams of Heroin, 28- LSDs, 32-ECSTASY (Amphetamine Drug), 3- Kgs of Ganja and (02) Cell phones at the instance of accused.

Particulars of accused:- 1. Francis Zavier, S/o M. Sunder Raj, aged 20 yrs, R/o Karkhana, .

2. K. Goutham, S/o Sashi Kapoor, age 20 yrs Occ: Student, R/o West Marredpally, Sec’bad. 3. R. M. Goud, Secunderabad and Goa. (ABSCONDING) 4. Akber, R/o Goa (ABSCONDING). 5. Sathar R/o Adilabad dist. (ABSCONDING).

Brief facts:- The main accused Francis Zavier is a native of karkhana, Secunderabad. Basically he is native of Tamilnadu state. His parents migrated to Hyderabad about 25 years back. He discontinued his studies in intermediate from Wesley College, Secunderabad. Subsequently, he addicted to consume narcotic drugs. About six months back he came in contact with drug peddler RM Goud who has been residing at Siolim, Goa since 3 years. During frequent visits of RM Goud to Hyderabad and indulged in supplying of drugs i.e. Heroin and LSD to Francis. Meantime, he became popular in his friend circle and started receiving drug orders from his friends and others. Due to financial crisis, he doesn’t have sufficient money to purchase the drug substances. Hence, he hatched a plan to purchase Ganja at lower rates in Adilabad and to sale at higher rates in Goa. As per their plan Francis and Goutham met with one Sattar, native of Adilabad District and purchased Ganja for Rs 7000/- per KG and started selling to the needy customers in Hyderabad and Goa for amount of Rs 25,000/- to 30,000/- per Kg. Later, they both started purchasing drugs i.e., LSDs, ECSTASY (Amphetamine drug) from RM Goud and Akber R/o Goa with earned money. The same is selling to the needy customers in Hyderabad at higher rates. Francis carries drugs in private Buses from Goa to Hyderabad. He takes every precaution while carrying drugs and keeps his luggage bag away from his seat to avoid police checking. In view of forthcoming New Year celebrations the accused purchased drugs at Goa and brought to Hyderabad for sale. Today i.e. on 20-12-2019, all the above accused were nabbed by South Zone Task Force along with Marredpally police and the accused and seized property handed over to SHO, Marredpally for further action.

PD ACT INVOKED AGAINST SK.ARIF S/O LATE SK.IMAM, DRUG OFFENDER OF CHATRINAKA POLICE STATION, HYDERABAD *** Sri Anjani Kumar, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City issued a preventive detention order under the Act No.1 of 1986 against Sk.Arif s/o Sk.Imam, drug offender of Chatrinaka Police Station on 30.11.2019.

The accused Sk.Arif s/o late Sk.Imam, aged about 21 years, Occ: Roti Maker, r/o H.No.18-2-888/10/34/1, G.M Chowni, Falaknuma, Hyderabad was peddling Narcotic Drugs among the people in the limits of Hyderabad Police Commissionerate with his associate in an organized manner. He has developed widespread network, wherein he uses cell phones and other information technology devices to escape police observation.

He committed an offence in peddling of Narcotic Drugs among the people in the recent past and his illegal and highly dangerous activities in peddling of Narcotic Drugs among the people has been endangering the lives of youth and innocent people causing irreparable damage to the body organs including the Central Nervous System, thereby crippling the mental and physical health of the people addicted to drugs. His activities are prejudicial to the maintenance of public order and public health at large.

Chatrinaka Police arrested the accused Sk.Arif s/o late Sk.Imam on 3.6.2019 in Cr.No.140/2019 u/s 8 (C) r/w 20 (b) (ii) (c) of NDPS Act, 1985 of Chatrinaka Police Station and remanded him to judicial custody. The preventive detention order was executed on him on 2.12.2019 and he was lodged in Central Prison, , Hyderabad.
