The performances of our athletes at the CWG 2018 has been praiseworthy. But both the athletes and we are aware that this is only the first test. There are bigger and more significant events like the Asian Games and other international tournaments and world championships to be played before the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Our initiative ‘Coaches Excellence Programme’ has been very well received and this will help in creating an even more powerful and meaningful eco system specially at the grass root level. I am also pleased to share that we have also registered OGQ as a not for profit entity in USA and have a young and active NRI board who are committed to helping and supporting the OGQ movement. This is also a time for me to thank you all on behalf of the OGQ board for being behind the athletes over the past GEET SETHI ten years. 9 time Cue Sports World Cham pion Padma Shri, Khel Ratna Awardee The OGQ team exists for the athletes and exists because of you. Founder & Director - Olympic Gold Quest Warm Regards, Geet Sethi 02 Dear Friends, I am writing this note on the back of an excellent performance by India at the 2018 Commonwealth Games at Gold Coast, Australia. India finished a very creditable third position on the medal table behind Australia and England. If you look at several parameters in comparison to Glasgow 2014 – position on the medal (5th at Glasgow), total number of medals (66 in Gold Coast and 65 at Glasgow) and number of gold medals (26 at Gold Coast and 15 at Glasgow) - India has improved by leaps and bounds. Of those medals, 24 athletes supported by OGQ who went to the Gold Coast won a total of 19 medals including 11 gold medals. It was not just the medals that gave reason to cheer but more importantly, the quality of performances that fetched those medals. Wrestler Bajrang for instance won gold in the 65 kgs weight category without conceding a single point throughout the tournament. We have scaled up our efforts significantly. We are currently supporting 153 athletes across 9 individual sports. 62 are senior athletes and 91 are junior athletes aged 20 years and below who are part of the OGQ jun ior scholarship program. Our experience over the last 10 years has taught us that having a great coach is the most important ingredient in the mix to build Olympic champions. Last year, OGQ started the Coaches Excellence Program(CEP) where 20 VIREN RASQUINHA coaches in Badminton and Shooting have been carefully selected to strengthen the coaching system in India. Former India Hockey Captain, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to Neha Aggarwal who has joined the OGQ team earlier this year as Olympian, Head of Partnerships and Communication. Neha is an Olympian who represented India in Table Tennis at the Arjuna Awardee Beijing 2008 Olympics. She did her Masters in Sports Management from Columbia University, New York. Neha Director & CEO - Olympic Gold Quest has a deep understanding of Olympic sport and is a great asset to the team. This wonderful journey continues and the Asian Games which starts on 18th August 2018 in Indonesia is the next big milestone. I want to end this note by saying a big thank you to all OGQ supporters for your continued backing. None of this would be possible without your support. This article aims to describe the urgency of critical studies concerning the regulation of foreign workers by exploring existing legal problems with national commitments to ratify international agreements regarding free trade, with a case study in Indonesia. By using normative and juridical approach with a variety of approaches both the law approach, conceptual approach, case approach and comparative approach, the study found that the regulation there is an inconsistency clause regarding special competencies that must be owned by foreign workers, including the selection and use of terminology in Act No. 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower. Thus, this study offers a constitutional solution due to the regulation of the subordinate foreign workers on international trade commitments which in turn negate the constitutional goals of creating the welfare of domestic workers. The normative consequences that immediately bind Indonesia after integrating itself in the World Trade Organization (WTO) membership are services trade agreements that are contained in the regulations of the General Agreement on Trade in Services (GATS).
