This book documents the many significant and varied Conference presentations and shares it with a wider family business audience. Our Conference gathers members of the family business community together for two days of lecture, discussion, interaction, experience and celebration. Conference attendees are introduced to new studies and best practices from exemplary family businesses as well as leading university researchers. The responses were instantly tabulated and projected on screen for the audience to see. The results helped to determine audience demo- graphics, and reveal any preconceived notions surrounding Conference topics. As a new feature for the book this year, we are able to compare our results to those of attendees of a similar family business conference held June 1 and 2, 2005 in Barcelona, Spain. That conference was sponsored by IESE Business School of the University of Navarra, Barcelona. IESE and Kellogg have collab- orative relationships in family business education and research.
