Once you’ve mastered Italian you can then venture to cook at home by using Giada Di Laurentis cookbook, cookware, utensils and the made in Italy serving bowl and plate provided in the basket. To get started, Maria Gardens provided a $25 gift card, seed packets of vegetables and herbs with a seed tray, water can & gloves to start your own fresh ingredients. Gentile’s Bakery & Deli provided a $20 gift card to be used to purchase food and/or bakery from their store. They also donated an Italian themed apron, Molisana pasta, a jar of Giardiniera and Gentile’s dipping bread to begin the cooking and eating. Most of the food items in this basket was purchased at the Giant Eagle Market District since they have a vast array of imported Italian food items to include different pastas, polenta, sopressata, salame, Italian sauces, Grano Padano cheese snack, breadsticks, and Italian spreads including Nutella. With every Italian dinner is good Italian wine and great Italian music from Il Volo. Molisana Imported Foods donated a bottle of Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, a wine of choice!
