Our Internship Marketing Program exposes candidates to marketing challenges in one of four core areas of our business:

PRODUCT MARKETING • BRAND MARKETING • GLOBAL MARKETING CENTERS OF EXCELLENCE • SALES OPERATIONS

From the beginning, you will be challenged with highly complex and strategic projects. Individual excellence, a drive for constant learning, curiosity and diversity of thought are mandatory traits for any marketer at General Motors. Our internship program is a direct path to our MBA rotational development program—TRACK.

PRODUCT MARKETING GLOBAL MARKETING CENTERS OF EXCELLENCE • Serve as the voice of the customer and champion • Work on challenging global GM projects our brand vision, developing and implementing ◦ Diversity Marketing the right content in the vehicle development process ◦ Branded Entertainment • Define target audiences and translate ◦ Global Partnerships consumer insights and trends (e.g., Manchester United and Disney) • Develop content, packaging and strategies ◦ Auto Shows and Experiential Marketing • Lead the company’s innovation in global products ◦ Optimization and technology • Provide marketing thought leadership • Influence what will be on the road in the next 10 to 15 years • Share insights and best practices to enhance innovation and efficiency BRAND MARKETING • Ensure consistent execution of key • Oversee aspects of developing and executing marketing efforts around the globe go-to market strategy • Work on a specific vehicle line and manage its SALES OPERATIONS consistent positioning and messaging in all touchpoints • Work with the operational group behind • Spearhead research efforts to develop deeper GM Sales and Marketing functions customer understanding and insights • Digital and website management • Measure and track performance based on sales targets, • Dealer operations exists here brand objectives and KPls • Responsible for some of the most • Lead the development of long-term marketing strategies complex and strategic business issues and communications plans to win in key markets that our company faces
