Jonathan Baran (Malvolio) is appearing in his first Shakespeare play, but is no stranger to the stage. He played Bill in Mamma Mia at LaSalle Academy and Santa Claus in Elf Jr. at Stadium Theatre. He also starred as private eye Warren G. Smugeye in the world premiere play, The Whale in the Hudson through YASI Players. Jonathan loves baguettes. Noah Saltzman (Duke Orsino/Clown) has been at YASI for seven years. He appeared on the Trinity Rep mainstage as Fleance in Macbeth and was Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream through YASI Shakes. He was in Macbeth and Othello through Shakespeare in the City. Noah is a student at St. Andrews School. Ursula Talbot (Maria/Antonio) began her Shakespeare journey as Macduff in Macbeth and Prospero/Ariel in The Tempest through the Gordon School. At Moses Brown, she played Viola in Shakespeare in Love, Sheila in Inspector Calls and Medda in Newsies. Ursula was a Trinity Rep ambassador last season. Jalil Neal (Sir Andrew Aguecheek) is in his second year of YASI. Last summer, he played Theseus and Peasblossom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. At Rogers High School, he was in The Little Mermaid, The Ghost of Christmas Future in A Christmas Carol, Friar, Narrator, Announcer and Claudius in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged. Jalil is a horror movie aficionado and will be attending CCRI in the fall as an acting major. Sylvia Sammon Burns (Sebastian/Captain) has been a part of YASI since 2013. She played Time in The Winter’s Tale and Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream with YASI Shakes. At Lincoln High School, she was Barfée in 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and played a high school boy in Tracks. She wrote and directed a play called What I Am… What You Are. Sylvia loves antiques. Liz Larabee (Olivia) is beyond excited to be a part of this year’s YASI Shakes show! She is heading into her junior year at Somerset Berkley Regional High School In the fall. Liz has been performing since she was three, building up her resume with theaters such as Applause Academy, Stadium Theatre, Inspiration Performing Arts Company, Un-Common Theatre Company, the Star Players of Massachusetts and many others. Some of her favorite past roles include Zinnia Wormwood in Matilda, Mabel Washington in Fame, Young Simba in the Lion King, Annie in Annie, and Teen Fiona in Shrek. This is actually her first Shakespeare show, and her return to Trinity Rep after two years of absence from the YASI program. Offstage, El enjoys reading, writing, drawing, and listening to as much music as she can. She would like to thank the creative team and her fellow cast members for making the process leading up to this moment so enjoyable. It’s time to see all that hard work and effort pay off! Break a leg everyone! Mack Meaders (Sir Toby Belch) has been with YASI for five years. For YASI Shakes, he has played Macbeth in Macbeth, Autolycus in The Winter’s Tale, and Nick Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. At School One, Mack was makeup artist and actor in an intergenerational theater program. He will be attending Marymount Manhattan college in the fall for acting. Katherine Berryhill (Viola/Cesario) is in her first YASI Shakes show after being a part of Trinity Rep’s Theater Lab and YASI Masters class series. At Arts Alive, she played Chava in Fiddler on the Roof, Gingy in Shrek the Musical, and Chutney in Legally Blonde. At Stage Masters through Barrington High School, she appeared in Little Shop of Horrors and Cinderella. .
